Eric Platt

US M&A Correspondent

Eric Platt is the US mergers & acquisitions correspondent at the Financial Times based in New York and contributes to the paper's premium deals briefing called Due Diligence. Previously he covered corporate, sovereign and municipal bond markets as well as the financial and humanitarian crises in Puerto Rico.

He joined the FT in 2013 from Reuters. He graduated from New York University.
