#SpiderSpotting continues this week at LUMSA University in Rome! University of Richmond President Crutcher addressed the opening plenary session at the Council of Europe’s Global Forum on “Higher Education for Diversity, Social Inclusion, and Community: A Democratic Imperative." His remarks provided a brief history of how critical an educated electorate is to democratic societies and affirmed America’s commitment to education.
We recently followed up with Lindsay, '07 and Jared Knight, '08, who built and moved into a 310-square-foot house in Texas. Now, the newest members of their family, newborn twin girls, have moved in.
Happy Solar Anniversary, Spiders! Last year, #URichmond cut the ribbon on 749 solar panels atop the Weinstein Center for Recreation & Wellness. Since then, we have generated 276,160 kilowatt hours of electricity, which is enough to power 28 homes for a year. #SpiderPride
