Sharing a card today from the NEW release at Simon Says Stamp. So many pretty dies and stamps! Love is in the air, along with the snow on my blog and in Iowa. hoho
My photos don’t do this card justice. Black and gold can be so dramatic and I assure you they are on this card! (no sunshine for pictures today)
I used the Memory Box Master Oval Frame die to set this card up, then tied on some thin gold thread.
Two white die cuts glued on behind the gold die cut…
You can see this die and the rest of the release at SSS, HERE. Have fun looking and shopping!
Thanks for stopping by!

P.S. Here’s a phone picture I just took this a.m. Sun is bright today!
Hi everyone! I have to get some posts in while it’s snowing here on the blog! lol Sharing the two cards I had the gals make at our stamp club Christmas party a couple weeks ago.
I stamped the silhouette image and sentiment from Hero Arts in black multiple times with the MISTI and Versafine Onyx Black ink, then using clear embossing powder I embossed it on a periwinkle color card-stock. The stamp set is, Greatest Gift CL559 if you want to google it.
Then I inked it with Chipped Sapphire Distress ink and an ink blending tool.
The pretty Avery Elle pierced postal frame die cut and mounted with strips of craft foam. I covered both sides of a piece of craft foam with Scor-tape and cut it into strips. Thank you Cindy for that technique! It’s awesome!
Here I used a snowflake background and word from Taylored Expressions and Crafter’s Companion watercolor paper. It’s really white. The holly and berries from Reverse Confetti.
Very easy A2 size and flat for mailing cards! I hope you’re enjoying this creative and busy season! It is going by way too fast for me! The tree is up and decorated and some of the other decorative things are out. yay!
oh presents…well…we’re working on it! lol
Take care! Thanks for stopping by today!

P.S. I have one TE Christmas Card class kit left if anyone is interested! I’d love to sell it! Photo and price on the ‘For Sale’ page, a tab under my blog title.

Hi everyone! When I saw the challenge at Addicted to CAS…I just knew I needed to use some of my Hero Arts stamps with the Hero Arts Ombre stamp pad! I had to hurry though cuz we’re down to the last few hours! eek! Life on the edge when you have too many things going! lol
I tried a few different backgrounds but ended up just going around the perimeter of the image with a gold paint pen after I inked and put 4 inch wide double stick tape over the top and covered it with Judikins Micro Clear Beads… I have to use them at least once a year! hehe
I die cut a Memory Box Postage square die, Holly die and the sentiment from Cottage Cutz in white glitter card-stock, holly in green. So festive but with a vintage appeal too.
I’m happy so it’s back to work on the house. The living/dining room is painted and we’re working on moving things back in. Tim washed some windows and I’ve been cleaning blinds! oh yuk is right! Double yuk! That’s why I had to stop and make something! haha
ok – ttul!

Hi everyone! Starting out the week thankful I woke up early to get a post written! I was inspired to make this card using these colors and design by a little Christmas card catalog that came in the mail, a business would order personalized cards from. I don’t normally think to mix white with gold!
I embedded the Memory Box Arpeggio Snowflake die like my video HERE…such an easy way to adhere this detail image and love how it looks on the back side, even though I trimmed the panel down and glued it to a card base. hehe
Merry is die cut in gold and glued on…Christmas is white heat embossed and from the poppystamps Christmas Greetings stamp set. I’m getting a lot of mileage out of that stamp set!
The black card-stock background panel is cut with the Memory Box Speckled Background die. An A2 size, top folding card.
oh, I had fun playing with the new Memory Box Circle Bump Borders die set! Here I die cut one of the sizes twice at an angle in a 4.25 x 5.5 panel of white card-stock. I scotch taped the straight lines on the back side and glued the panel to an A2 size card-base. Then you can just slip a gift card right under the bumps and it holds it perfectly and stays! So happy when done! hehe
This was a surprise drawing/gift at our stamp club party Friday. Jan won! Thank you Carolyn for the HyVee gift card!
I’m loving this new poppystamps Pine Twig die. Die cut it twice and glued on. But of course it needed holly! I die cut poppystamps Holly Leaves and Berries die twice and glued them on. Fast and flat if you want to mail it! oh, a little glittery snow would’ve been fun…ok, on the next one! lol
Here’s the Memory Box Circle Bump Borders die again! I used a bigger one this time. That poppystamps Christmas Greetings stamp set again, some little strips of gold metallic card-stock that I did run through the big shot with the bump die so the ends would be curved, the pretty little poinsettia from the Memory Box Fanciful Poinsettia Ornament die and the pine branches from the Memory Box Blissful Bundle die.
You’ll notice the front panel has a little border…I like to use the A2 size rectangle die from the Avery Elle Custom Panel set, when I need the front panel back side to be covered. Then I just glue it to an A2 card-base.
I was happy with this sweet A2 size CAS Christmas card. Should be easy to mail even with that small gold pearl.
Well, yesterday we went to Costco and bought an artificial Christmas tree. We’ve had real Christmas trees for over 30 years. I’m not sure I’m gonna be alright with it. sigh. Sounds so silly typing it. I won’t have a tree to water every morning! One daughter told me, I can always buy a real tree too! hohoho She’s right but one of them would never get decorated cuz I gotta make cards you know! lol I do love real trees.
Happy Thanksgiving week to you wonderful blog friends. You’re the best! I’m thankful!

Cuz you can never have enough poinsettia dies in your stash! lol I do love this one…use the largest size for the leaves too.
Then add that pretty white contrast with the Scribble Snowflake Circle die and those striking pine twigs…lovin’ this card!
Linking my poinsettia card to the Jingle Belles Christmas Challenge – flowers, Happy Little Stampers Challenge – anything goes with dies
Then there’s the love of holly! This beautiful Holly Swirl Frame Oval die is so pretty done up so many ways! This one I embossed it through the Big Shot after cutting and then inked with Peeled Paint Distress Ink through the die. I used Tim Holtz card-stock and sanded the details on the Holly and the Stitched Oval.
This one is rather traditional! I stenciled after embossing with Versamark ink and used Judikins Sparkle Pine Embossing powder on the leaves. Any embossing powder would be pretty though! Some red Stampendous sticker dots, red with gold wired ribbon and the die cut Peace and it’s finished. (I kinda wish I’d put a contrasting oval under the Holly Swirl Center…hmmmm)
All about fast and flat today! lol
Thanks for stopping by! I know…I don’t think these count for coloring! and I didn’t get the Printworks Fall cards posted yesterday….I got sidetracked coloring and making these cards for Scrapmania, hehe…look at the IG photo in the sidebar. lol If you click you can see IG but you can’t post or comment unless you log in. Off to see what else I can get done today!
Happy Veteran’s Day and thank you to all who serve and have served the USA!

Hi everyone! I’m not keeping up the greatest with the ‘daily’ part of the Daily Marker 30 days of coloring challenge but here I am back again…not giving up! lol I had this all cut out in white but since I needed to color, I did some real basic Copic coloring on the Memory Box and poppystamps die cuts.
Here’s a picture of the parts before I put them together…oh, I did glitter the frame with Hero Arts Prisma glitter and the Glue stamp pad before I put the card together.
and here’s a close up photo…
I’ll link up below to the dies I used… it’s an A2 size card. It’s pretty and really was fast to make! YAY! I need those new Playful Fawn dies, I have them in my cart at SLS! lol I’ll put a link to those too…they might be really cute in this scene!
