Squarespace: At Squarespace, one of the things the company was founded on is the belief in great design, usability, and performance. There’s a lot of parallels with that and Arch Motorcycles. Did that play into your decision to use Squarespace for your website?

Keanu: I started acting when I was fifteen. And I had this moment with my agents, where I said to them, “I can’t go on a commercial audition for something that I don’t have an affection [for] or believe in.” So, when myself and Arch were approached by Squarespace, it was cool, because we use Squarespace. And then, when the creative was brought forward, in terms of what the ideas were, it was really exciting. They were smart. They were funny. I thought, “That could be cool. Surf a motorcycle in the desert. Yeah.”

Squarespace: We talked a lot about this, but how involved are you with the Arch website?

Keanu: Muy involucrado. “¿Cuál es nuestro mensaje? ¿Cómo nos mostramos al mundo?” Con mi cofundador Gard Hollinger y el equipo de Arch, esa visión de la empresa se solidifica. Gard y yo somos el motor que la impulsa y cómo se expresa esa visión en el mundo.

Squarespace: ¿Por qué es importante para tu empresa tener un sitio web o una presencia online?

Keanu: Cuando tienes un negocio, necesitas un sitio web. Es importante porque es la conexión que tienes con el resto del mundo. Squarespace: What was it like developing something like motorcycles, which was your passion, into an actual business? And do you have any advice for people who are just at the cusp of trying to start their own business?

Keanu: For me, this all began with a love of riding motorcycles. Turning that into a business really came from the feeling of being a part of creating something that I wanted to take into the world. In terms of any advice for that, I’m not great with advice, but my it’s been really fun. There’s challenges everywhere, in the sense of working on what you’re creating, bringing your message to the world — and that keeps evolving. But you just have to hold onto your heart, in a way, and your intention. And that will guide you through all of the decisions that you have to make.

Squarespace: ¿Cómo te diste cuenta de que tu pasión podía convertirse en algo más que un simple hobby?

Keanu: Arch Motorcycle comenzó hace más o menos ocho años. Tenía una motocicleta y quería personalizarla y me presentaron a Gard Hollinger, que es un reconocido diseñador y fabricante de motocicletas.
