Haim Vitali Sadacca (1919-2017) was born in Çanakkale, Turkey. He began writing poetry as a student in Istanbul, where his work would begin to appear in local publications. An accountant by trade for most of his life, he retired in 1990, spending part of his year in his native Turkey, as well as in the United States and Canada. Sentimientos de un poeta (“Sentiments of a poet”) is one of his most profound love poems.
