Today's card was inspired by the sketch challenge from CAS(E) this Sketch.  I am using my Sweet Strawberry set from Stampin Up's new mini catalog.

Let It Snow!! Wintery & White!!  Can you make a masculine card that fits our "let it snow" challenge?  Why not give it a try?? Today begins a new challenge over at Cardz 4 Guyz.  #C4G262   We would love for you to play along with us!!  We are excited to see your "let it snow" cards for the man in your life!!  Mine was created using Night of Navy card stock that I embossed and then inked up with some white ink.  I added a trio of wooden glittery snowflakes, and finished it off with a "let it snow" sentiment.

TGIF Challenge #298

Today's shaker card was inspired by the sketch challenge from the TGIF Challenge team.  This sketch seemed perfect for creating a shaker card.  I used vellum as my shaker cover to give it a more muted look.   I like this smokey look for something different.  My sentiment banner was from Stampin Up's Sailing Home set.

Two cards...Two challenges...

A trend challenge!! Stencils!!  That is the trend this week over at the Just Us Girls challenge.  I used a Tim Holtz stencil to create the sun beaming through the under water scene I created.  I am having so much fun with this new set from Stampin Up...Seashells are Like Friends!

A sketch challenge!! This sketch challenge is from the Paper Craft Crew.  I struggled with this sketch and am not sure I like how it turned out but here it is.

As You See It Challenge #241 & Color Throwdown Challenge #624

 Two challenges inspired today's card...

As You See It // #AYSI241 ...A speed challenge!! Create a card in under 10 minutes!!  This one took 8 minutes but a large part of that time was me trying to pick the right sentiment!!  We were also suppose to use from our scrap pile...all the papers on this card were in my scrap pile except for the base.  The butterfly had been cut out and then not used so it was on the scrap pile as well. 

Color Throwdown // #CTD624 ...A color challenge!!  The current colors are cream, brown and rust.  I had all these colors on my scrap pile so these two challenges were a great color combination!!

 Two challenges inspired this card...

The Spot Challenge // #144 ...A d esigner choice challenge!! My choice and one of my favorite go to techniques on cards is embossing the background.  I was especially excited to use this technique today because a new embossing folder just arrived in the mail.  I love this Old World Paper folder from Stampin Up!

Freshly Made Sketches // #FMS467 ...A sketch challenge!!  This sketch was perfect for showing off my new Sweet Strawberry bundle.  This stamp set and punch is so much fun...I am excited about all the possibilities!!

CASology Challenge #381 & Paper Players Challenge #522

 Two challenges inspired today's card....

CASology // #381 ...Cue Card: Memories!!  I love this quote...memories do bring comfort, strength, and peace!!  I included a "with sympathy" sentiment on the inside.  Thanks CASology for the inspiration...this card is a nice addition to my sympathy stash!

Paper Players // #PP522 ...A theme challenge!! For this current challenge the theme was "use something new" on your card.  I just had a small order arrive yesterday day with some new ink and card stock colors.  For some reason I never ordered the Granny Green ink and card stock.  So the plastic came off of both and today they were used for the first time!!
