New Orleans

Brennan's was a highlight of my trip to New Orleans. I was there to have Bananas Foster in its birthplace, but I also had the oyster soup to start and the tagliatelle as my entree. Every bite was better than the one before. I enjoyed the presentation of the soup, watching it get poured over whole oysters. And I loved watching the bananas foster being cooked and flambeed before my eyes. I ate at the bar and had the company of the bartender who was friendly while she worked. The food was great, the atmosphere is lovely and the service is top notch.

I received multiple referrals as a must go to while visiting New Orleans. I was informed to be prepared for a long wait. Our wait time was about 40 mins. I wanted to order the sampler, however I was informed that I couldn't substitute the seafood options, which was disappointing as I am allergic to seafood. I paid $27 to purchase everything minus the seafood vs paying $20 for the sampler�. Our waitress appeared distracted & made us feel as if we were bothering her. None the less the Jambalaya was amazing! The other food was pretty good too. Our waitress never checked on us until we were ready to leave. We requests 2 boxes which she brought & she also gave us 1 small paper bag. The carryout boxes were bigger than the bag, but fit sideways. I asked for my pie that I paid for & she hissed as if I inconvenienced her by requesting my food. I also asked for a box & another bag. She brought my pie & this time a huge paper bag for my pie. The good was good however the staff needs to attend a customer service seminar.

I guess I'm kind of biased to café du monde because I've been going here since I was a kid! But I loved it when my mom used to take us there for our birthday and I love it now when my family and I come into town for the holidays! It's usually pretty packed because it's a tourist attraction but it only takes about 5 to 10 minutes to be seated and about 10 minutes to get your order. The beignets are definitely worth the wait!

This will be my go to stop on my next trip to town. Defines the term laid back and relaxing. Went in for a quick drink and stayed 3 hours. Steamboat Willie and his band are amazing! They make a connection with the audience. He even took time and talked with me between sets. If your on Bourbon Street at night and the craziness gets to you, come into their courtyard and relax.

This weekend is my birthday weekend and I decided to treat myself to a drink. Walked in port of calls and usually I would have to wait to get someone to take my order but this time I didn't. Sat straight down bartender took my order fixed it asap it was the best experience I ever had they had me laughing even though I was alone I never felt like I was the company came was amazing.. I would always recommend this place to any one that I can. I will be back with friends THANKS AGAIN!

My husband and I just stayed at this beautiful hotel for the first time. We could not believe the level of service we received. We were greeted by our personal concierge, Norma Dietz, who walked us around and showed us all the restaurants at the hotel, the spa, gift shop and then up to our room (which she upgraded to a suite when she found out we were celebrating our 32 wedding anniversary)! Later, they delivered champagne and chocolates to our room. Our room was very large and the bed was very comfortable. Everyone from valet to the bellhop (who showed us how to use the Uber app lol) were so nice and helpful. We felt like we were royalty! Thank you all for such a wonderful experience!

I will absolutely stay here again!! It was my sisters 1st time to visit New Orleans and i wanted her to get the full experience of this wonderful city. The service and that breakfast buffet was amazingly delicious. Several options for all types of diets. I had the crawfish omelet and chicken and apple sausage...to die for. Our cook Stephen and server Daaron was exquisite and exceptional. The room was perfect with an awesome view that my sister loved overlooking Riverwalk and Harrahs!!! U guys rock!!!!

My group of 8 (plus another couple that we overwhelmed- sorry!) just finished escaping the Vampire room and it was a ton of fun!! Puzzles were challenging but not frustrating and the theming was perfectly spooky but not scary. Our clue giver, Matt, was very creative when helping out! My only issues are the price (worth it, but I would come more often if it was a touch less expensive) and that we were given clues a bit quickly sometimes (but we may not have escaped otherwise so...). I would definitely recommend to others and hope to be back again!

I was there with my 4 sisters in this picture and we laughed, dance, ate and had our portrait drawn. I would say that it's memorable.

I had my wedding here on October 22 and it was more than I could of asked for. The staff was extremely helpful and they catered to our every need. Me and my bridal party stayed at the villa the night before and it was beautiful! When we ordered breakfast for the morning of the wedding, it was delivered to our front door at the exact time we asked it to be delivered. Even when we ordered lunch it was delivered to us. As far as my wedding, it looked like something out of a magazine. I gave Jessica my decor and the staff made the place gorgeous. I can't stress enough how pleased I am with English Turn. I will forever be grateful to the staff of English Turn for making the wedding of my dreams happen. �

I've been to a lot of museums, and this is one of the best. You can tell that a lot of hard work and thought was put into everything. The "dog tag" interactive aspect was very unique and made the experience more real for the visitor. We were there on a busy day, so unfortunately we were not able to read as much as we wanted to, but that obviously isn't the museum's fault. I'm glad it's so popular! I would have liked to see more artifacts, but I understand they are spread out at museums all over the United States, so I'm sure they did their best to get what they could. Very enjoyable experience!

Thank you for opening your doors today. There are many who appreciated it, although I'm sure it was hard to tell as people allowed their children to destroy the museum and treat it like it was a giant trash can and act like it was a free for all. I personally watched many children break things, push other children, injure other children, and generally run amok like while parents looked on and laughed about it. That's if they were even with their kids, as there was a very large amount of unsupervised children just doing whatever they pleased. I felt so bad for your employees today.

The Barber Shoppe is a great place to get your haircut. Nice people, well priced and they do a great job cutting your hair. Don't be fooled by them being tucked away in the back of the third floor, I walk half a mile to the building and they are always accommodating.

I come to New Orleans just to see this place, I will spend all my money in it if I don't watch myself haha awesome for music fans, one of a kind shirts I've never seen , great record players , bought mine and can't stop using it , the people are some of the nicest folks in the area willing to help with whatever you need and also showed me a pearl jam album they found that I would like to see , very helpful, and never have problems finding an album

This was our first time there, drinks are a little pricey but good. Diplo was amazing of course! I know it was sold out, but I'm pretty sure they oversold it, NO room to dance, you could hardly move at all. I go to dance! Ended up leaving early because it was so crowded, it was too hot, & we couldn't move. The venues itself is nice, love the courtyard, and all of the staff were very friendly. I'm sure we will be back, hopefully there won't be the same crowd issues.

We came here with a large group of my boyfriends family members. We were using some free passes given to us by my family members. At the ticket counter we were asked where we were from and our response was "Bogalusa in St. Tammany Parish". To our surprise, we adults got in free bc of the flood. We paid $0.00 to enter the zoo that day. I was extremely happy about this! We knew nothing of this special or discount rate going on. We had a blast with family and for my youngest daughter who is 5, this was her first visit. I only had one negative experience throughout the whole day. We stopped by the lemonade stand near the cafe and the Roman candy cart to get some drinks. We got out 2 lemonades and walked back to the cafe to use the restroom. When I sat my drink down on the baby changing station I noticed something floating at the bottom. I picked it up hoping it was just crushed seeds, but it definitely was not. There were 2 dead ants floating on the bottom! When we got out of the restroom, I gave the drink to my bf to exchange. The young lady was offended that we wanted a different drink and made the snide comment, "nobody else's drunk has had any in it". Rude! He just told her to make another one. When he brought it back to me, he hadn't tasted it. I wish he had bc she didn't add a single drop of sugar...just lemon juice and water! I didn't want to return to her again so I tried to fix it by adding packets of sugar. No go, 4 packs later and it was still sour as ever! As irritating as that part was, I'm sure we'll be back. I promised my youngest we would ride the train the next time.
