Blue Dragon Episode 39 Triumphant Return English

3 years ago230 views

Following the destruction of Nene, the children that Nene has captured have been returned to their families. With the struggle against Nene's forces finally over, everyone rejoices. Shu and Co. alongside the survivors of Jibral and their allied forces celebrate their victory after arriving at the city of Logic. At the local banquet, Shu, Kluke, Jiro, Marumaro, and Bouquet receive their medals. Meanwhile, General Logi is informed by Delphinium that following Nene's destruction, the remaining forces of Gran Kingdom are either fleeing or even deserting. General Logi tells her that they are leaving Gran Kingdom. After a very long speech, Legolas and Conrad inform Shu and the others that they have assembled soldiers to go after the remainder of the Gran Kingdom army. After travelling to a temple and finding out that General Logi had been there, Zola has Homeron the Original and his fellow Homerons look for General Logi. Later that night, Shu and Jiro discuss about what will be next now that Nene is destroyed. Meanwhile, Delphinium attacks General Logi for his act of secession from Gran Kingdom. Delphinium escapes and General Logi doesn't bother to let Andropov track her down. With Zola still away, Shu, Jiro, Kluke, Marumaro, and Bouquet wonder what to do next now that they've defeated Nene. As Conrad and Legolas lead thousands of men to hunt down the remainder of Gran Kingdom's forces, Zola finally returns and tells them that they will be heading to the Sealed Grounds. Meanwhile, Andropov and Schneider have increased the powers of their shadows Alubujem and Isabel for General Logi's next plot.
Shu is the main protagonist of Blue Dragon. Like many others in Talta Village, Shu's parents died because of the Land Shark when he was a baby. Because of his parents' untimely deaths, he now lives with his grandfather, Fushira, in Talta Village. Shu's brash and impetuous nature has often gotten him into trouble, but his courage, strength, and determination has saved him from certain death many times. It is revealed that he has a crush on Kluke.
In the anime, Shu is depicted as even more brash and impulsive than in the game. When around Bouquet, he is shown to be something of a pervert, but still controls himself around her much better than Marumaro does. Two years later, he is in Legolas' resistance against the forces of Rosekstan using an exo-suit with an artificial shadow to lead a supply raid upon a Rosekstan airship. Upon encountering Noi during an attack by Rosekstan and Michael's Red Dragon form, Shu regains his ability to summon Blue Dragon as he goes on a mission to stop the Investiture Beings from destroying the world.
Shu is the owner of the shadow Blue Dragon, which often uses magic sword attacks. In the anime, Blue Dragon doesn't cooperate with Shu at first until their fight with Ivanov and Gustav when Shu managed to gain enough power to control him. For most of the anime, Blue Dragon constantly criticizes everything Shu does. The Blue Dragon has a very violent personality, and is extremely cold, not caring about anything or anyone but himself, but does show concern when Shu is hurt. In the anime, Killer Bat reveals that Blue Dragon is the incarnation of destruction, a descendant of the first darkness, and because of his power both friend and foe alike feared him. He was also worshiped for possessing such high power.
