| amazing story! Thanks for sharing! | User Comment Submitted by Dr.j on 22 July 2017
| @Jak T Rip: hey my friends..there is no rules for demos :) demo making is art !, one can take a music which have been done 20 years ago (used/unused doesn't matter) , and the other can use unreleased music. this guy who made the demo already told he made some of the parts a long time ago , so maybe this was the music in the time he started the demo. this is amazing demo in every aspect :) nothing can decrease from this experience | User Comment Submitted by Jak T Rip on 22 July 2017
Nice pace. The dot tunnel is ace and I also like your in between lyrics.
I heard the music in too many demos already, for me a demo like this needs a new exclusive music. That is part of the game.
I always wanted to make a center flamer, and now you did it! Thumbs up! | User Comment Submitted by Karmic on 2 April 2017
| If this is what you can do in only one file by yourself, then I am afraid to see what you can do in a full demo :p | User Comment Submitted by ChristopherJam on 17 February 2017
Excellent debut. Much has already been said below, but I do want to add that the sequencing of the first few minutes to the music was also beautifully done. Bravo!
I did have vague plans for a part char/part realtime rect tunnel myself, but I think you've already got this one covered now. Seriously fiddly to get right, and you got here first. Again, nice work! | User Comment Submitted by Sparta on 17 February 2017
Axis: no one is worth of your plot crown.
Bob: I put some of my background in the Trivia. No other computing background, except a little bit of assembly on the PC. I coded a Mars.exe clone, a plot ball bouncing on a mirror, and my first fire effect on the PC in 1999, again for my own entertainment. No other scenes or machines. I don't even speak Java or C, or any other exotic languages. | User Comment Submitted by GeoAnas on 16 February 2017 User Comment Submitted by saimo on 16 February 2017 User Comment Submitted by Axis/Oxyron on 16 February 2017
| Wow, this is what I call a debut. What lovely fire FX. And everything in 1 file. I also have to hand the crown for the best plot tunnel over to the new plotter king in town. Hope to see more of this in the future. | User Comment Submitted by Zyron on 16 February 2017
| The groupname describes this perfectly; OMG! | User Comment Submitted by Bob on 16 February 2017
Wow! wtf is happening in the scene..
are sceners reaching nirvana ?
first X... then Datastorm and now this ?
like the scene has elevated up to level of godness! great stuff.. what is your background ? other scenes? other machines... interesting to know since this is good stuff as a first attempt
on the c64! | User Comment Submitted by Dr.j on 16 February 2017
| Hi Sparta! i must tell you what i feel towards this one , its one of the greatest demos i have ever seen on C64 and if its your first release on C64 i think you are a A C64 God . its beyond my conscience mind how did you create this one but its rocks so good and so impressive! way you go mate !! | User Comment Submitted by Groepaz on 16 February 2017
two parts of this demo (EOR-fill tunnel, and dot tunnel) were actually written in SMON
you are officially crazy :) | User Comment Submitted by Sparta on 16 February 2017
WOW, thank you guys for the warm welcome and all the overwhelming positive comments. I really wasn't expecting this. :) I added a summary and some trivia about the demo.
JackAsser: You are too close to your screen. Take a few steps back and it will look much less chunky. :)
Glasnost: Your parts in One Year Camelot inspired my to learn machine code 25+ years ago. I very much appreciate your comment.
Hexworx: My favorite, too.
Sith: I did not know this game, certainly, very similar effect. Where did you find my photo? I am not on any social media... :)))
Mekong: You got the message right! (No, I didn't lose my pills.)
Everybody else: Thanks again for all your great comments!

Maybe Sparta was inspired by this:

Quite impressive bringing 16bit effects to our beloved 64. The dot tunnel is also really smooth but the other tunnels are what really gives me a rush.
Also, those flames... gorgeous!
Get knocked off your sox because...

Now that is quite an entrance to the scene. As MK's Scorpion would say: "Welcome! Get over here!" | User Comment Submitted by Hexworx on 15 February 2017
Amazing!
And one of my absolutely loved SID's was used (i had it a very long time as cellphone jingle and perhaps in the next time again).

| This deserves way more praise and comments. It is a debut, it is great, it is onefile, it is not so artsy-fartsy and thus fantastic :-D More of this please! | User Comment Submitted by JackAsser on 15 February 2017
| The radial fire is a great idea! Albeit a bit chunky, still a great idea. I can imagine better variants in 4x4-mode etc that will look really awesome. | User Comment Submitted by Shine on 15 February 2017
| What can i say ... I <3 IT dude !!! One-Man-Army at it's best. I really enjoyed this nice demo. Well designed, nice tunnels and fire effects.
