“Jupyter provides a platform for any newbie to jump into Python and learn.”
– Mark Cuban, Shark Tank “Shark,” Dallas Mavericks owner
How do you get people to understand—and act on—your data? Join us at JupyterCon to discover how Jupyter Notebook, the immensely powerful tool for creating self-documenting, reproducible, and understandable data, can bridge the gap between analysis and action.
Project Jupyter, the NumFOCUS Foundation, and O'Reilly Media are pleased to announce the inaugural JupyterCon, which will be held in New York, New York on August 23-25.
At JupyterCon, you'll discover how the Notebook (and other open source Jupyter tools) can solve "last mile" issues of communicating data to management, make collaboration easier, create self-documenting and transparently future-friendly apps and widgets, and transform your workflow and your organization.
You'll get hands-on training, insightful (and inspiring) keynotes, deeply practical technical sessions led by Jupyter's contributors and tool creators, best practices in the fields of business, science, government, and education, and an insider's look at what's coming in the Jupyter Project.
JupyterCon covers all aspects of the Jupyter project including Notebook, kernels, JupyterHub, widgets and the project's underlying architecture and tools—and how to leverage the platform at organizational scale.
You'll hear how organizations that use data successfully (Google, Microsoft, Amazon, NIH, and Bloomberg LP, to name just a few) are using Jupyter. You'll learn how to put their best practices to work in your organization. And you'll understand the hurdles they overcame (and how they did it), so you can avoid pitfalls in your projects.
Join us at the New York Hilton Midtown to discover the potential of this powerful platform. Need help convincing your boss? We’ve got you covered.
Immerse yourself in two days of in-depth education on critical topics. Each training course takes place August 22-23 and is limited in size to maintain a high level of learning and instructor interaction.
If you are a college-level student, would like to attend JupyterCon 2017, and need some financial support, aid is available. Please apply by June 16.
