Audit, consulting, tax and advisory services firm Deloitte has purchased cloud consulting firm Day1 Solutions Inc. for an undisclosed sum. The company says it's also adding 3,000 U.S.-based engineers to its ranks as part of its cloud effort expansion. Most of those new positions will be based in new cloud studios to be opened in Orlando, New York and Washington, D.C., over the next year.
