The BMW Center's events program complements the educational experience of Georgetown students and seeks to foster greater interaction between the worlds of academe and policy. These public events include talks, seminars, and conferences as well as flagship series like the Herbert Quandt Distinguished Lecture. And each year, the Center highlights a salient theme in European studies with a subset of its events program. The 2015-2016 event theme is "Europe and its Others". Our 2014-2015 theme was "Remapping Europe, 1989-2014".
