Paris Fashion Week / PINKO knitwear

My first look from Paris Fashion Week finally relates the the current season of the year. No more summer dresses and shorts. It’s getting colder and colder so my wardrobe is slowly transforming. I wear more jumpers and jackets, because they are the only ones that keep me warm.

You know that I’m a big fan of two-piece outfits (look here and here) and I found a great solution for autumn. This PINKO two-piece is knitted, it keeps me warm, it’s really cosy but also I feel very elegant wearing it. I would say it’s perfect for Paris, as I always feel the pressure to dress more elegantly and wear more feminine clothes when I’m there. I also wore my new Miu Miu sunglasses, Chanel sling-back shoes and the mini bucket bag from Simon Miller. I’ll show you my other PFW looks soon!

Houndstooth print

Here is my look for the Topshop Unique show this Sunday during London Fashion Week. Houndstooth print for some of you may seem to be conservative. I think the secret is to keep the right balance and make it look modern and fresh. I added to it the most simple t-shirt, which looks stolen from your boyfriend’s wardrobe. This look reflects the 90’s style at its best.

Below you can see my favorite selection of Unique pieces which hit the stores straight after the show. This is nothing other than real, fast fashion. And honestly I think it’s a great idea to be able to buy your favourite look immediately!

Avenue32 x Leur Logette dress / New York Fashion Week

As I told you a few posts ago, my love for long dresses settle in my closet permanently. I’ve been wearing them pretty much every day during New York Fashion Week. This one is from Avenue32 x Leur Logette. I added some classic accessories, like Chanel sling back shoes and Louis Vuitton bag to make the whole look more elegant and feminine. I was wearing this outfit for Tibi show, which was during the hottest day of the summer and I was about to faint while going down to the subway. Thank god for Uber, which saved my life not just this once.

New York Fashion Week / Apart jewellery

No words can describe my huge love for New York City. Especially in the summer, when the weather is perfect. It’s hot, it’s sunny, all day and night long. My first look from New York reminds me of my favorite movie ‚Picnic at hanging rock’. I felt really special while wearing this beautiful long dress with an open back, like I could rewind time and live in a different era. To make it look more elegant and modern ( as it was NYFW) I added gold jewellery from Apart: rings, bracelets and earrings. And finally the mini bucket bag from Simon Miller x Avenue32 to carry my essentials. We took these pictures in Lower East Side and East Village, just after Phillip Lim show.

Back to work // Monnier Frères x Pucci

This is definitely my “back to work” look. After the entire summer of swimsuits and slip dresses, it’s finally time to put on something more elegant. I’m saying back to work, because July and August are mostly dead in the fashion world. Beginning of September marks the beginning of fashion month and the time fashion world awakes after 2 months of summer. In three days I’ll be in New York, and I’m definitely taking this little Pucci wonder with me, which I managed to haunt down in Monnier Freres. It’s very subtle and elegant, but feminine and a bit girly too. It’s my perfect bag, and I also have about 10 looks planned out with it, so make sure you follow my social media channels for full NYFW coverage. I highly recommend you to browse Monnier Freres and their other autumn propositions, from bags, to shoes and accessories. It’s one of my favorite online stores with designer pieces, where you can find not only universal brands like Philip Lim or Chloe, but also niece brands like Jerome Dreyfuss or Elizabeth and James.
Another big part of my “back to work” outfit is this midi dress. Or all midi dresses for that. I’m absolutely obsessed with this length, which will be a major trend this coming fall, as we’ve seen on many fashion shows in the February/March season of fashion weeks (click here to see the beautiful Saint Laurent collection which based around midi dresses). The only catch is, that a midi dress has to fit perfect to do wonders for the silhouette, it can’t be too short or too long. The perfect cutoff point is halfway between the knee and the ankle. I really like this flower print one for my “back to work” because it mixes the fall midi trend with a summery print making it the perfect transition outfit.
