Margot House Barcelona

My last post and pictures from Barcelona. I had a pleasure to stay in Margot House, a boutique hotel located in the middle of the city centre. If you’re lucky enough to get the room from the main street side, you’ll have a view to Casa Battló, designed by Antonio Gaudí. Ask for Room #1 to make sure it’s the same as on my photos. If you like small and cosy hotels as me, where you can feel like home, Margot House is a perfect place to stay during a trip to Barcelona.

Satin slip dress

Long slip dresses haven’t been my thing. I liked them but it was always easier for me to put on a longsleeve mini dress instead and not to worry about the second layer. That’s the reason I loved this AllSaints two piece featuring a knitted wool jumper with a satin slip dress underneath. It looks absolutely cool together, effortlessly with a touch of grunge. If you need even a warmer jumper, then there is a warmer option of similar two piece here or in grey colour. I mixed the dress with the high heeled pointed toe shoes and Louis Vuitton mini back pack to make the look more casual and more accurate for the day.

Maje checked jacket / Barcelona

I absolutely love tailored blazers mixed with some white or grunge t-shirts to add that cool edgy look. This checked two piece from Maje can be styled so many different ways and I already regret I forgot to shoot it with button closed. Anyway I was wearing it with Gucci t-shirt from Men’s department, good old snake print boots and the cutest mini backpack from Louis Vuitton. I wasn’t sure if I didn’t go too crazy with all those prints and colors in my outfit, I usually need at least one element to be black. As an excuse I can tell you ( and to myself) I didn’t have enough space in my suitcase to bring one more pair of black boots. I flew to Barcelona just for the weekend.

Paris, The Grand Pigalle

I love Paris, no matter if it’s sunny or rainy. Here are a few shots from my last trip to Paris for Printemps event. This time I stayed in The Grand Pigalle Hotel located in my favorite area near Montmartre. Definitely on my Top 5 Hotel list in Paris.

Selfridges x Aquazzura

The Holiday Season is just as much about fancy dress and partying as it is about spending time with your family and stuffing your face around the Christmas Tree. I always look forward all the parties and especially New Year’s Eve, I look ahead and plan my outfit and always „dress to impress”. But it could be tricky in my case, as I don’t like that much the obvious party wear. I’m not a big fan of head to toe sparkles and tight dresses. My outfit has to be both festive and mine, in the sense that it has to reflect my personal style above the Holiday party style. That’s why I put on an old and classic pair of black jeans (an absolute staple in my wardrobe) together with a shiny top, with an 80s twist, and my new Aquazzura Alix Suede Courts shoes. I am such a huge fan of Aquazzura, their shoes are always perfectly comfortable and really well balanced between classy and edgy. The ones I’m wearing here, I found in Selfridges, because they always stock the best selection of party shoes (and not only). They are great not only for NYE lash, but for any other occasion really. Top buy if you ask me.
