If selected for ACE, the applicants’ NACP National Fund application will be dropped, whereas their Regional Fund application will still be considered if submitted either by the 1st deadline of August 1, or by the second deadline of November 1 (as lead applicant or co-applicant).

ACE and the National Fund both provide direct institutional support, albeit different in design and duration. Those who applied to ACE 2019 may apply to the National Fund or Regional Fund under NACP. #nacp_fund_2019

Arts & Culture Entrepreneurship (ACE) 2019 grantees are eligible to receive a grant under NACP Regional Fund, but not the National Fund. #nacp_fund_2019

Given that NACP is a new program, institutional applicants who applied recently to another AFAC grants program may apply but they cannot be grantees of both programs. If they are selected for NACP, they will not be considered for other AFAC grants while the NACP grant is open.

Individuals cannot apply to NACP. NACP is for independent institutions/collectives/spaces with programming/networks/social enterprises. #nacp_fund_2019

Applicants who are applying to the National Fund may apply to the Regional Fund’s 2nd deadline of November 1, whether as lead applicant or co-applicant. #nacp_fund_2019

The Regional Fund provides a total grant between $150,000 & $300,000 per grant. The rolling call is open with 2 separate deadlines & announcements: August 1 for the 1st deadline (with results end Oct 2019), and then Nov 1, 2019 for the 2nd deadline and (with results end Jan 2020)

The North Africa Cultural Program's National Fund provides a total grant between $75,000 and $200,000 per grant. The call opened May 16 and closes August 1, 2019 with the announcement of results expected end October 2019. #nacp_fund_2019
