    Visited the 800 year old Indian Hospice in , the meditation place of our revered Sufi Saint Baba Farid. Was greeted by Sheikh Ansari & his sons, caretakers of the Hospice. Truly a memorable experience!

    Had the honour of visiting Indian cemetery in Haifa to pay homage to our soldiers who laid their lives during WW1. Worth mentioning that celebrates 'Haifa Day' every year on 23rd of September to commemorate the supreme sacrifice of our heroes in the .

    What an innovation! The Dan Region Wastewater Treatment Plant I visited in Shafdan, Israel, is an amazing example of use of technology to collect, treat & reclaim municipal wastewater. Discussed with Mekorot officials the possibility of using it for Punjab’s urban areas.

    Really interesting to see NaanDanJain Irrigation use precision agriculture to deliver increased productivity in Israel. Will brainstorm with them on how we can use their micro-irrigation technology effectively in Punjab to help our distressed farmers.

    The Amritsar tragedy was very unfortunate. Have ordered a magisterial enquiry into the mishap & directed the Home Secretary to prepare detailed guidelines for holding such congregations to prevent any incidents like this in future.
