Title:Non-amenable tight squeezes by Kirchberg algebras

Abstract: We provide a constructive ambient Kirchberg algebra of the reduced free group C*-algebra ${\mathrm C}^\ast_{\mathrm r}(\mathbb{F}_\infty)$ without intermediate C*-algebras. Moreover we show that every Kirchberg algebra is KK-equivalently sandwiched by non-nuclear C*-algebras without intermediate C*-algebras. Our method also reveals a new ubiquity of Kirchberg algebras.
