VISIBLE AND PERMANENT explores the complex relationship between the concept of civilization and it’s antecedent, so-called primitivism. The artworks presented in this exhibition bring together a group of contemporary artists who are mining the ideologies of origin while firmly entrenched in the now.
Graphite Vision at the Schick Art Gallery, Skidmore College opens Friday, March 24 from 5-7pm, with an artist talk at 6pm.
Diana Guerrero-Maciá will be a visiting artist at Washington University from March 19 – 26, 2017. She will present a lecture on Monday, March 20, 2017 at the Washington University Sam Fox School of Design and Visual Arts at 6:30 PM.
Gallery artist Andrew Holmquist will be included a new group exhibition, Eternal Youth at the Museum of Contemporary Art Chicago from March 11 – July 23, 2017.

Dannielle Tegeder’s solo exhibition Infrastructure opens Friday, June 5th at the Montclair Art Museum. Infrastructure features a site-specific wall installation, large-scale mobile, and series of animations that merge the interior and exterior spaces of the Museum.
