Panther Marching Band to perform in the Rome New Year's Day Parade

The UNI Panther Marching Band has accepted an invitation by the City Council of Rome, Italy, to perform in the Rome New Year's Day Parade on Sunday, Jan. 1, of 2017. The band will leave the United States on Wednesday, Dec. 28 for a 9-day trip that will include Florence, Pisa, Rome and Pompeii.

'Uncommon Sense' at the Gallagher Bluedorn

"Uncommon Sense," a theatrical work elevating awareness about the autism spectrum, will premiere at 7 p.m., Saturday, Jan. 21, and at 2 p.m., Sunday, Jan. 22, at the Gallagher Bluedorn Performing Arts Center.
