Yale New Haven Health System chooses Netmail to provide email archiving and migration services for hospitals in its network.
In the spring of 2011, Yale New Haven Health System decided to replace its Novell GroupWise email system with Microsoft Exchange for 20,000+ users to standardize its email system for both the medical school and its partner hospitals in the health system.
Learning that Netmail provides a solution and methodology that migrates data behind the scenes, allowing for data integrity checks, high-fidelity capture of personal archives, minimal end-user disruption, and the possibility of extending the system into a full-blown enterprise email archiving solution post-migration, the hospital chose Netmail to complete its email migration.
The hospital decided to pursue a pilot project with Netmail and implement email archiving by leveraging the archiving component of Netmail that was already installed at YNHHS during the migration process. Since then, Netmail Archive has been successfully meeting the email retention and archiving challenges at the hospital for several years.
