Battle of Hampton Roads Weekend Minorities in the Civil War

To commemorate the 1862 Battle of the Ironclads between the USS Monitor and CSS Virginia, the Museum will host a weekend full of family-friendly activities, living history encampments, reenactors, cannon firing and blacksmithing demonstrations, special events, lectures, and more! This year, in addition to the Battle itself, the weekend will focus on minorities in the Civil War.
