JUNE 15
THE DIDACHE — THE TEACHING OF THE TWELVE APOSTLES Jerrrol Leitner
The Didache (Did-a-kay), a brief early Christian treatise, dates from the mid to late first century. Its importance is highlighted by the fact that some church fathers pushed to include it in the New Testament. Written perhaps even before the first gospel, the book’s version of ritual and belief both agrees and clashes with that found in the New Testament – making for intriguing and enlightening study.

Vacation Bible School is a great opportunity for children to make new friends, discover new things about themselves, and grow their faith.  The VBS theme this year is “Love Your Neighbor.”  We will engage in crafts, games and Bible stories that remind us and teach us to love our neighbors.  The cost is $50 a child with an option of lunch.  The dates are August 15 – 17 from 9 – 12.  Lunch will be from 12-12:30.  Please email Pastor Elizabeth  with any questions.
