National Collegiate Athletic Association, the Supreme Court will decide whether the 1992 Professional and Amateur Sports Protection Act prohibition against state-sanctioned sports gambling is unconstitutional commandeering. Wisconsin Implementing Solutions to Benefit Military and Overseas Voters
While election processes are administered in the counties of most states, Wisconsin municipalities handle elections. Instead of 50-150 voter jurisdictions, Wisconsin voters must figure out which of the 1,852 municipalities to register and cast their votes. Academy Focuses on Medicaid Reform Bills and Probable Impacts on States
In Washington, D.C., 27 state legislative leaders gathered for the sixth annual CSG Medicaid 101 Policy Academy. Attention was focused on the Medicaid reform plan, called the Better Care Reconciliation Act of 2017, under consideration in the U.S. Senate following the House approval of the American Health Care Act in early May.
