As always, thank you for your patience and we hope you enjoy Issue 39. We are always looking for fresh voices, so please spread the word and, if you feel like your work is a fit with our journal, send a submission. We hope to continue to publish issues in a more timely fashion, but we need your best work to ensure that! We started this poetry journal back in 2005, and never thought it'd still be going today. It's all thanks to your support!

Shaindel Beers was in Issue #38 of CN and we enjoyed her work so much that we thought you should read a little more of it. Shaindel is a fantastic poet from the Pacific Northwest. She's also an editor and a college professor. Want to read more about Shaindel and check out her poems? Click on the Featured Poet button on the left menu.
