When you become a national NSSLHA Member you get the extra support that can help you succeed in school, your profession, and your role as a leader now...and tomorrow!
NSSLHA has approximately 13,000 members at chapters located on college and university campuses across the United States and Puerto Rico.
NSSLHA is an association for students, managed by students. National policy and activities are governed by the NSSLHA Executive Council with support from Regional Councilors and Student State Officers.
Individuals and NSSLHA chapters who make significant contributions to further National NSSLHA's mission are recognized annually through the National NSSLHA Honors Program.
The ASHA Convention is a great opportunity for students and professionals to meet for discussions, workshops, and presentations of papers. Students can also participate in NSSLHA-sponsored activities.
Each year NSSLHA selects a national organization working on behalf of individuals living with communication disorders and facilitates a fundraising campaign through NSSLHA chapters and members.
Publications include our award-winning NSSLHA Now! newsletter and the In the Loop e-newsletter.
NSSLHA provides multiple scholarship opportunities for undergraduate and incoming graduate students.
