Eric's Christmas decoration that my dad made for his grave.

My mum had a package in the post with a lovely surprise present.

This lovely candle with our own special label was sent from Kari. She doesn't have a blog but has followed us for many years and also comments on other blogs.
Thank you Kari, we love the beautiful smelling ginger candle. When mum lights it we will all be thinking of my dear brother Eric.
Of course Kari didn't forget me.

She sent me two nippy toys. Hmm, this green one smells good.

I'm not inhaling! Well maybe just a bit.

I'm going to put the bitey on you, you tasty toy!

Excuse me a minute, I just have to rub my head in this tissue paper.

Oh, hello red fishie! Don't worry I won't leave you out.

I will try and play with you both together.

Sorry, you'll have to wait. I need to have a chew on this tissue paper.

You can't escape from me!

I smell a strange cat on here. Kari told my mum that one of her kitties had a chew on the paper. I have to put my smell on here too.

I also had another surprise in the post. The most stunning ladycat, Cathy Keisha sent us a Christmas card, but the best was inside.

Yes, what you can see between my paws is genuine CK fur.

This time I did inhale! Oh yes, I most certainly did. My mum had to rescue it because I tried to eat it.

I now have it safely tucked under my curled paw so no-one can take it away from me.

Eric's Day Flashback - Excuse Me!

Sunday Selfie.

I was snuggled up on the bed in the nest I had made myself  out of the duvet.  I make sure my mum keeps the flash off when she gives me the camera,  and I knew the light wasn't good enough for my selfie so I knew I wouldn't get a good photo. After last week's humiliation when she posted for me I knew I would just have to make the most of it or there's no telling what embarrassment she would have heaped on me this week.

It looks like I have grown an extra long leg where I am reaching for the button!

Eric's Day Flashback - It's Snow Joke!

This week the flashback comes from December 2010 and is one of the few times we had snow and is called:
It's Snow Joke!

When it snowed at the weekend, mum asked us if we would like to go out and play in it. IS SHE MAD??? We used to play in it when we were young and foolish, but we are older boys now with more sense. Anyway, she chucked us out the door! That shouldn't be allowed surely. Oh okay then, she opened the door and we made the mistake of going out to check it out.

Flynn: I ran right under the hedge where there was no snow.

Eric: And I went under the swing hammock.

Flynn: Mum kept trying to get photos of me under the hedge, so I had to move away from her. I tried to keep my feet out of the snow.

When I got to the end of the hedge, I had to walk on the nasty white stuff.

Yuk! I do not like this cold stuff one bit.

I don't care what she says, I'm heading back indoors.

Eric: Good idea, I'm coming too.

Okay mum, so we've been out and walked in it, now take it away again.

Hang on a minute Flynn, there's an interesting smell here.

For goodness sake Eric, never mind the smells, lets get back in by the fire.



Mum was not just content with turning us out in the snow, she had to film the indignity too. You can see at the end I saw the garage door was open and couldn't wait to get in, but I did do my full garden perimeter patrol first.

Sunday Selfie.

I told my mum I didn't want to do a selfie this week.
She said, "Okay, that's fine, just leave it to me."

Eric's Day Flashback - Going Home.

This week the flashback is from December 2010 and is called:

Going Home.
Mum got us out during a break from the rain so I took the opportunity to get up in my favourite tree.

Eric decided he would stay in the grass and keep a lookout for mousies.

Hey Eric! I can snoopervise you from up here.

Then mum called us to go back home, so I put my lasers on so she could see me.



She opened our own private gate so we could get back into the garden the quick way.

A Short Walk.

Even though it has been cold I insisted on going for a short walk.

It's a good job I did because there have been intruders here.

Of course I did! What did you expect?

Sunday Selfies.

I'm trying to decide, should I eat that blade of grass or take my selfie.

Well, it is Sunday so I had better take that selfie.
I used the timer for this one, but there were leaves blowing around which distracted me and I forgot to look at the camera.
