Melitta Baumeister‘s work appears regularly on THIS IS MY SUIT. The New York–based designer returns for SS17 season with a specific bold, clear and minimalist collection.
The appearance is stark and strong, even if the silhouettes are more approachable than before. The designer comes from an idea of displaying a form of strength that still needs and deserves protection, while her creations are simultaneously more accessible and mature.
Forest of Numbers by Emmanuelle Moureaux
As a part of their 10th anniversary commemoration, the National Art Center of Tokyo presented the museum activities of the past ten years in the Special Exhibition Gallery room — which was superimposed with a large installation “Forest of Numbers”.

Artist Gue brings basketball court alive
This ultimate picturesque court has popped up in Alessandria, a city from Italy. As part of the redevelopment of the Carlo Carrà park, the Sicilian mural artist GUE transformed a 347-square-meter basketball court into a geometric labyrinth of lines and colors.
1967 Lamborghini Marzal
Designed by Marcello Gandini of Bertone, Lamborghini Marzal is a concept car which made its debut at the 1967 Geneva Motor Show.
Although it ultimately remained a one-off – though the general shape and many of the ideas would later be used in the Lamborghini Espada – the Marzal is one of the definitive cars of the post-War coachbuilding industry that was dominated by the ever-expressive italians.
30 Park Place
Originally from England, Candice Ralphc is a freelance designer & art director based in New York. Together with co-designers Damien Saatjian and Yoshie Hozumi, they created the identity and branding for a luxury residential building – 30 Park Place. Paulina Reyes and Michael Ian Kaye took care of the art direction and the result is outstanding.

The Order Of Discalced Carmelites
Located in Snagov, Romania, the Monastery Complex is a place of worship for the monks of the Order of Barefoot Carmelites – a contemplative monk order known for its austerity. It has been desired to be a concept – inspired from the Romanian traditional architecture but reconsidered, modernized and adapted to current needs.
