As part of Reimagining the Civic Commons, an initiative to invest in public spaces in cities across the United States, Studio Gang developed a set of design strategies and techniques that any community can use toward reimagining their civic assets.

By creating a key public access point along the river’s edge, the WMS Boathouse at Clark Park supports the larger movement toward an ecological and recreational revival of the Chicago River.

Campus North enhances students’ social and academic lives, while also opening up the university to the greater Hyde Park community.

Presented as part of the National Building Museum’s 2017 Summer Block Party installation, Studio Gang’s Hive is an exciting, interactive space buzzing with activity and sound.
