I’m a Surrey photographer. Born and bred in Cologne in Germany I came to the UK in 2007. My wife and I live together with our two children in Guildford – a town I love calling my home. Guildford is not just a beautiful city, its perfect location also gives me easy access to London, Hampshire, Berkshire and Sussex.
I’m a Surrey Wedding Photographer, commercial photographer and video producer. I love my work – both the wedding and the commercial side of it. I’m an easy-going but hard-working creative professional. I challenge myself and strive to become a better photographer and filmmaker with every frame I shoot.

Being a Surrey Wedding Photographer
I am a Surrey Wedding Photographer based in Guildford. I love being at weddings and I really enjoy photographing every single one in a tasteful reportage style. From intimate weddings in Guildford through to larger weddings in the Surrey countryside, I have a real passion for wedding photography that I hope shines through in my photographs. During the busy wedding season I shoot about 30 weddings but I equally enjoy cosy winter weddings.
How I became a Surrey wedding photographer
I photographed my very first wedding five years ago – it was the wedding of a good friend. I posted these photos online and started to receive wedding photography requests right away. A year later I had given up my day job and had my own wedding photography business right here in Surrey. Most of my business comes from word-of-mouth. I’m not a big marketeer; instead I’d rather like my photos to do the talking.

Heartfelt Wedding Filmmaking
The latest generation of digital cameras make it possible to shoot both video and photography at the same time. I started filming little snippets of the day for the bride and groom to share on social media. When I realised the benefits of innovation I decided to add wedding filmmaking to my services.

My life as commercial photographer
When I decided to become a full-time photographer I also added commercial photography to my portfolio and luckily this side of my business has gone from strength to strength too. Now I shoot portraits, products, buildings and events on a regular basis. My portrait photographs have been used for magazine covers, movie posters, annual reports and websites. I have done advertising photography for major national and international retailers – both product photography and lifestyle shots but I equally work as much for start-ups selling their goods on Amazon. I’ve had the privilege to shoot a private jet, some of the finest headquarter offices in London and food for gourmet chefs and caterers. I enjoy the diversity of my work including shooting and filming events such as conferences, award ceremonies or private birthday parties.

Commercial Video Production
The latest generation of digital cameras make it possible to shoot both video and photography. I have produced corporate films for companies in the UK, Switzerland, Germany, The Netherlands, France and Spain. Having my own green screen and teleprompter allows me to produce TV quality explainer videos. I have also filmed corporate events using complex multi-cam setups and I have created several 2D animation videos.
I am currently considering the possibility of offering multi-cam event filming and instant live streaming on Facebook and Google Hangouts.
