Painting Forever Wild....

I was attracted to the Adirondacks long before I moved here. There is something about these wild and rugged mountains that speaks to me - and this is what I try to capture in my paintings. All my watercolor and oil paintings are of specific places that I've had the great pleasure of visiting, often by hiking, paddling, or skiing. Most of my paintings are completed on location, "en plein air". My home studio in Saranac Lake, NY is open by appointment and my work is always on display in the Adirondack Artists Guild Gallery, 52 Main St., in Saranac Lake. If you'd like to bring a "piece" of the Adirondacks home with you, I can help!

Note: I've donated this painting of a wolf, for a raffle to benefit the Adirondack Wildlife Refuge. Tickets are $5 or 5 or $20. Contact me if interested in purchasing any. The raffle ends Feb 11, 2017. This wolf, named Zeebie, actually lives at the Wildlife Refuge.
