Markets And Canals In Amsterdam

THE NEXT MORNING... from our hotel, we walked around the town, from one end to another.  No, I did not feel tired at all, walking along the streets here is good for me, as long as I am kept warmth.  So much to see and tempted to buy but I refrained!  My luggage were almost full, going to UK, they allowed only 23 kg and one cabin size bag of only 7 kg!  *unless I upgraded and pay more, of course* So... I refrained and I just walked around to look and see only.  Temptation suppressed fully!  LOL..

We spent the whole day sightseeing on the streets, going to the markets and walking along side at the canals and now looking back at the pictures, I think we are really good walkers!

Evening Sights In Amsterdam

FIRST DAY IN AMSTERDAM...

We had no specific itinerary in Amsterdam, I was just a "follower".... Wherever they planned to go, I just followed... LOL... The last time I came here was on wheelchair so I did not get to walk at all.  This time was compensated with lots of walking, from one street to another, going through alleys for shortcuts and turning here and there.  If not for my friends who led the way, I sure would have gotten lost.  Every street has a bridge over the canals, all look alike to me!  The weather was as cold as in Aberdeen, as usual, my winter jacket puffed up and I am all go Go!

For dinner, we had Vietnamese food... LOL... all the way to Amsterdam to taste the Asian cuisine! After dinner, as usual, I must have my "fix" even though the weather was super cold.  Someone told me that the taking cold desserts in cold weather is good, it will neutralize the body warmth.  Believable cos I do not feel cold taking ice cream at all!!

Multi City in Amsterdam

THREE DAYS TWO NIGHTS IN AMSTERDAM.... We took a cab to the airport all by ourselves coz it was a weekday and Aaron had to work.  Very convenient to get a cab really, just have to book the day before and the cab will be at the doorstep the next day.  The flight was punctual and we reached Scipnol airport within an hour and a half flight.  At the airport were our friends from

Austria, they were so kind to wait for us after arriving a few hours earlier than ours.  Together the 6 of us checked in to a hotel right in town, so convenient and within walking distance to shops and restaurants. After checking in, we had our late lunch at an Italian restaurant.  After that it was all walking and walking from one street to another!
