Tell Donald Trump: Release your tax returns or you won't be on the Illinois ballot in 2020.

Daniel Biss has filed Senate Bill 982, which would require any candidate for President or Vice President -- including Donald Trump -- to release their tax returns in order for their name to appear on the Illinois ballot in 2020. In this vein, he's released his own tax returns for the last five years and called on all Democratic candidates for Illinois governor to do the same. Add your name in support of SB 982 -- because we deserve to have confidence that our chief executives are acting in our interest, and not for their own potential financial gain.

Support LD 1422 and Presidential Tax Transparency!

Until this last election, every presidential candidate since Nixon had made his or her tax returns public. LD 1422, "An Act To Require Presidential and Vice-Presidential Candidates To Disclose Their Federal Income Tax Returns," would require that future candidates disclose their returns to in order to qualify for a place on the Maine ballot. This would let Maine voters judge potential conflicts of interest for the leaders who will negotiate trade deals on our behalf, and will decide when and where to send our young men and women in uniform into harm's way. As my legislator, you have the power...

Remove Sean Earlen from the New Jersey Pinelands Commission

NJ Pinelands Commissioner, Sean Earlen's appointment ends July 2017. Mr. Earlen's yes vote allowing South Jersey Gas to run a pipeline through the NJ Pinelands violates the Comprehensive Management Plan of the Pinelands Commission. We, therefore, request the Burlington County Board of Freeholders to remove and replace Mr. Earlen from his appointed position.

Demand a town hall with Rep. Abraham

For someone who claims to spend more time at "home" than any other member of Congress, the constituents of Louisiana's 5th District have a hard time getting in touch with Rep. Ralph Abraham. He isn't holding a single public event during the two-week recess and his staff members are unresponsive to requests for public meetings. Abraham was elected to represent his the people of this district and he can't do so without communicating with us -- sign this petition and demand a he hold a town hall!

Tell Congress: We Deserve To Know. Label GMO Food!

Congress has a choice to make. Either do the bidding of Big Ag and keep consumers in the dark about genetically modified food, or do what American consumers demand and require clear labeling of GMOs. Do the right thing. Don't leave us in the dark. REJECT the DARK Act. PASS the Biotechnology Food Labeling and Uniformity Act and shine a light on GMOs in our food!

Petition to South Dakota Senate Candidates

“With the growing gap between the rich and the rest of us, Americans deserve a raise. I support raising the minimum wage – and call on all South Dakota candidates for the United States Senate to do the same and request whether (s)he stands with hard-working parents who want to put food on the table or with corporate CEO’s who want to pay themselves millions more in bonuses.”

Tell the Senate: Let people refinance their student loans!

Last year Congress lowered interest rates for new student loans, but didn't help people stuck with older student loans at 6, 8, even 10% interest rates or higher. Please pass the Bank on Students Emergency Loan Refinancing Act. People should be able to refinance their student loans to today's lower rates.

Massachusetts: Say no to Citizens United and shadowy SuperPACs

Join us in calling for Steve Grossman to denounce the SuperPAC formed in his name and publicly request their ads be immediately taken down. These attacks, the first negative SuperPAC attack ads ever launched in a Massachusetts Democratic Primary, will only hurt our Party, our state and our democracy in the long-run.

Abolish The Rigged Superdelegate System!

If Superdelegates are allowed to vote for a candidate that they want and not who the American people voted for, than what is the point of voting if the system is rigged? Please abolish the Superdelegate process and let the American people choose who they want the Democratic nominee to be.

Boycott Home Depot (Co-founder supports Trump)

The Hispanic and Latino community, who are a huge part of Home Depot's workforce, clientele, and success, will not shut up, but rather stand up and speak up against the endorsement of racist Trump by one of Home Depot's co-founders, Bernie Marcus. Boycott and sign the petition so that the Hispanic and Latino buying power is acknowledged, respected, and felt by Home Depot, its shareholders, and its investors.
