Loading... Adaptation and Natural Selection: A Critique of Some Current Evolutionary…by George Christopher Williams
![]() None. No current Talk conversations about this book. This is a must read for evolutionists. This book is known for introducing the concept of gene-centric evolution, which was later on developed by Dawkins (the selfish gene). But it is much more than that. It strongly criticises the panselectionism positions that existed in the 1960's (and that are still held by some of my colleagues!). Also it explains why natural selection is a tautology, yet a very useful and valid concept. Text is beautifully written and well referenced. ( )no reviews | add a review
