2 Timothy 3:16-17 “All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: 17 That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.”
There are many who relegate the inspiration of Scripture to the original autographs only, and that it could not exist beyond them. However, able scholars and those who understand the Scriptural meaning of the word put that little child to bed long ago.
Biblical inspiration means that all Scripture is God-breathed. Young Timothy did not have, nor had he ever seen any of the original Scriptures. Yet, the Scriptures he had were given by inspiration, and he had “known them from a child.” 2 Timothy 3:15 “And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.” Notice that he knew “the holy scriptures…” And, if all SCRIPTURE is given by inspiration of God, what he had must have been inspired scripture! We also believe we have the inspired scriptures in the King James English Bible.
Inspiration of scripture means that the words give to the writers were given by God and are a true account of what is written. However, inspiration does not mean that everything that is written was truth. There are many examples of this. “We find lies of Satan and men; false doctrines; and many sins listed in Scripture. Inspiration simply guarantees that these lies were actually told; these fallacies were taught by certain men; and that these crimes were committed, but it does not make these lies and fallacies the truth or place God’s sanction upon the crimes. One must find out whether Satan, evil men, or God is speaking in Scripture. God is not responsible for what others have said just because He causes what they did say to be recorded by inspiration. All God guarantees is that these things were said and done as they are recorded. Only what God says or teaches is truth which He requires men to obey.” Dake Topical Index. We should add, believers are only required to obey what God says for those in this dispensation. We must know what truth is for today.
Inspiration of the Scriptures is not difficult to prove. In fact, there is more proof for the inspiration of the Bible than there is that George Washington or the Nebraska Man ever existed. Timothy held in his hand the inspired, Holy Scriptures; so can we.

It’s just a habit.
My friends all do it.
I want to be liked by my friends.
It makes me appear to have more authority.
It makes me sound tough.
It gives me more confidence.
It shows I am well-educated
It shows my respect for those around me.
I am angry and lack self-control.
It’s my way of honoring my parents.
It’s my way of honoring God.
It shows that I don’t care about others.
It shows that I lack a proper vocabulary.
It shows I need to be saved.
It shows that I am an idiot.

MANY ASK. “WHY DID GOD GIVE THE LAND TO ISRAEL?” THE REASON HE DID NOT GIVE IT TO THEM IS IN THE CAPITAL LETTERS IN THE TEXT. THE WICKEDNESS AND IMMORALITY OF THE CAINITES ARE UNAMAGINAGLE. HOWEVER, THE BOOK OF LEVITICUS AND MANY OTHER TEXT DESCRIBE THEIR DEPRAVITY. IT SPITE OF THE MANY WARNINGS, ISRAEL DID NOT LISTEN, AND THEY TOO BECAME JUST AS WICKED. THUS THE LAND VOMITED THEM OUT.
“ Hear, O Israel: Thou art to pass over Jordan this day, to go in to possess nations greater and mightier than thyself, cities great and fenced up to heaven, A people great and tall, the children of the Anakims, whom thou knowest, and of whom thou hast heard say, Who can stand before the children of Anak! Understand therefore this day, that the LORD thy God is he which goeth over before thee; as a consuming fire he shall destroy them, and he shall bring them down before thy face: so shalt thou drive them out, and destroy them quickly, as the LORD hath said unto thee. SPEAK NOT THOU IN THINE HEART, AFTER THAT THE LORD THY GOD HATH CAST THEM OUT FROM BEFORE THEE, SAYING, FOR MY RIGHTEOUSNESS THE LORD HATH BROUGHT ME IN TO POSSESS THIS LAND: BUT FOR THE WICKEDNESS OF THESE NATIONS THE LORD DOTH DRIVE THEM OUT FROM BEFORE THEE. NOT FOR THY RIGHTEOUSNESS, OR FOR THE UPRIGHTNESS OF THINE HEART, DOST THOU GO TO POSSESS THEIR LAND: BUT FOR THE WICKEDNESS OF THESE NATIONS THE LORD THY GOD DOTH DRIVE THEM OUT FROM BEFORE THEE, AND THAT HE MAY PERFORM THE WORD WHICH THE LORD SWARE UNTO THY FATHERS, ABRAHAM, ISAAC, AND JACOB. UNDERSTAND THEREFORE, THAT THE LORD THY GOD GIVETH THEE NOT THIS GOOD LAND TO POSSESS IT FOR THY RIGHTEOUSNESS; FOR THOU ART A STIFFNECKED PEOPLE”. Deuteronomy 9:1-6.
“ And thou shalt not let any of thy seed pass through the fire to Molech, neither shalt thou profane the name of thy God: I am the LORD.” Leviticus 18:21
Molech
When people lost sight of God and began to worship the planets, demons, and hero gods, they practiced horrifying acts of cruelty, obscenity, and perversion (unnatural sexual acts). Even sons and daughters were burned in the fire (Lev. 18:21; 2Ki. 3:26-27; 16:3; 17:17,31; 21:6; 23:10-11; 2Chr. 28:3; 33:6). Many of the ancient nations shed human blood before their deities. Molech means “king.” This was the name of the main god of Ammon — called Chemosh by Moabites. Molech was worshiped in Egypt as Amun, or Amun-Ra, “the king of gods.” What was supposed to be his likeness was a statue of brass resting on a pedestal or throne of brass — his head crowned and resembling that of a calf, and his arms extended as if to embrace all who came near. Children were his victims. The statue was heated red hot by fire inside and children were shaken over the flames or passed through the hot arms in dedication to it, to receive Molech’s favor. It was believed that all children not so dedicated would die in infancy. Many were actually burned alive in the idol (see the scriptures above). It seems that King Ahaz was dedicated to Molech (2Ki. 16:3,19-20; 2Chr. 28:3).

“Though thou shouldest bray a fool in a mortar among wheat with a pestle, yet will not his foolishness depart from him.” Proverbs 27:22 .
The book of Proverbs has much to say about the impossibility of teaching or instructing the fool. The above text show just how difficult it is.
There are three words that are unfamiliar to those of us in the West. They are, bray, mortar, and pestle. These are illustrated in the picture.
The word, bray, means to pounds or pulverize grain until it was turned to powder. The powder was then mixed with water and made into bread.
The next word is mortar. It means a hollow place, as you see above. It was usually in a stone that was hollowed out for that purpose. The grain was placed in the mortar or hollow place, and then pounded to powder.
Finally, you have the word pestle. The pestle is the interment in the hands of the woman. With it she pounds the grain within the mortar into a power.
The only ingredient remaining was the fool. The writer is saying, if you put the fool in the mortar with the grain, and pound him to power with the pestle, he still would not cease being a fool. He is too stupid to depart from his foolishness. In fact, he may be so foolish; he doesn’t know he is a fool. So, some people are impossible to teach, rebuke, or instruct, and it is a waste of time and energy to correct them.
Advice on Ministerial Wars
Ministry wars are inevitable. Therefore, the pastor must know the difference between a breeze and a tornado. The pastor who is insecure and suspicious of everyone will constantly be plagued by fears and doubt. If you believe a matter requires confrontation or a war, contact older pastors in whom you have confidence and seek their counsel and advice. If you have mature and trusted men in your church, it may be helpful to seek their guidance. Regardless of the decision, you must stand up to the challenge and accept the outcome. Most problems are power struggle or frustrated ambition on the part of some member. Your problems will most likely come from someone who is close to you. That is, a staff member, a deacon, a treasure, a music director or their wives. These people usually get offended because of a policy decision you have made or over budget allocations. In order to minimize ministerial wars, communicate clearly and lovingly with your congregation. Be transparent in money matters. Give people more information than they need. Remember, people in the dark tend to be more suspicious and will believe the gossip mongers. Silence them, if you can, with light. You should show humility, but never show weakness. A church that will not change, will not grow. Be slow to make changes and expect to lose some people when you do. The pastor should not seek war or start them. But, he must be alert to the fact that the devil uses wicked men and women to hinder or destroy his ministry. Therefore, get all the advice and help available to you; spend much time in prayer and when the war is over, move forward in victory to build a greater ministry for Christ! “Purgatory, according to Catholic Church doctrine, is an intermediate state after physical death in which those destined for heaven ‘undergo purification, so as to achieve the holiness necessary to enter the joy of heaven’ (Catechism of the Catholic Church, 1030). Only those who die in the state of grace but have not in life reached a sufficient level of holiness can be in Purgatory, and therefore no one in Purgatory will remain forever in that state or go to hell. This theological notion has ancient roots and is well-attested in early Christian literature, but the poetic conception of Purgatory as a geographically existing place is largely the creation of medieval Christian piety and imagination.” -Wikipedia.
REASONS WHY NO ONE SHOULD BELIEVE IN PURGATORY:
- NOT ONE OF THE APOSTLES BELIEVED OR TAUGHT IT.
- THERE IS NOT ONE VERSE IN THE BIBLE THAT TEACHES PURGATORY.
- PRAYING FOR, AND WORSHIPING SPIRITS OF THE DEAD IS A CULTIC TRADITION GOING BACK BEYOND EGYPT. Jesus said the Pharisees were, “Making the word of God of none effect through your tradition, which ye have delivered: and many such like things do ye.” Mark 7:13.
- JESUS PURGED OUR SINS “ONCE AND FOR ALL.” “And every priest standeth daily ministering and offering oftentimes the same sacrifices, which can never take away sins: But this man, after he had offered one sacrifice for sins for ever, sat down on the right hand of God; From henceforth expecting till his enemies be made his footstool. For by one offering he hath perfected for ever them that are sanctified.” Hebrews 10:11-14. If you are saved, you are “perfected forever….” The wafer has no power, nor is there need for it.
- PURGATORY IS AN INVENTION TO “BIND” THE LIVING AND THE DEAD TO THE ROMAN CATHOLIC CHURCH. Anyone who believes his loved ones are suffering in Purgatory, will never abandon the church, and will give unlimited amounts of money to get them out. This effort to release a loved one from purgatory requires special service to the Church. However, giving of money works best. This is one of the reasons the reformers, like Luther, forsook the church. The Martin Luther Trial Homepage comments. “How did the practice of dispensing indulgences begin? The first known use of plenary indulgences was in 1095 when Pope Urban II remitted all penance of persons who participated in the crusades and who confessed their sins. Later, the indulgences were also offered to those who couldn’t go on the Crusades but offered cash contributions to the effort instead. In the early 1200s, the Church began claiming that it had a “treasury” of indulgences (consisting of the merits of Christ and the saints) that it could dispense in ways that promoted the Church and its mission. In a decretal issued in 1343, Pope Clement VI declared, “The merits of Christ are a treasure of indulgences.
- WHEN A SAINT DIES, THEY GO DIRECTLY TO HEAVEN TO BE WITH JESUS. “For to me to live is Christ, and to die is But if I live in the flesh, this is the fruit of my labour: yet what I shall choose I wot not. For I am in a strait betwixt two, having a desire to depart, and to be with Christ; which is far better:” Philippians 1:21-23. To be absent from the body, is to be in heaven with Christ. To die is not “gain” when you know you are going to burn in purgatory. Furthermore, no one knows how long he must be there suffering hell fire, nor when one is released.
- PURGATORY WAS NOT AN OFFICIAL CHURCH LAW UNTIL 593 A. D. If the pope has the power, why not release all saved souls from purgatory? Could money be a factor?

This article is a response to self-appointed “evangelist” Jerry Kaifetz. Since he cut off my ability to respond to him in private on “messaging,” we will post my last response, which I am sure he never received. His disdain for independent fundamental churches has embittered his spirit, and he could not refrain from showing his contempt for them and me. My only reason for posting this response is because of his “hit and run” tactic after his vile attack.
Mr. Kaifetz, You demonstrated your unwillingness to face the truth when you said, “Exactly what I expected,” and then cut me off of your Facebook, so I could not respond to your vile accusations. You should have expected that response because you set the table.
Concerning you calling me a hypocrite, because I pastored, and had a son smoking pot is like the kettle calling the pot black. You never had the courtesy to ask if I was aware of it or not. I was not. You may say, “Well, you should have known.” Well, let’s see how that plays out, Mr. Kaifetz. Were the Wilsons Hypocrites for teaching Sunday school, and preaching in Junior Church while their son was smoking pot? Have you confronted them about that, or do you only target pastors? Also, you were a member of First Baptist, and you must have known the pastor’s son was having sex with every girl he could corrupt. If you did know it, were you a hypocrite to be a part of that ministry? You boast about how heavily involved you were in the church. If you didn’t know about the immorality, why not?
Also, for you to blame me for the drinking problem of their son is a demonstration of your duplicity. You have an agenda in your attack on fallen pastors…its call ego, and money. Perhaps if enough pastors fall, you may become famous.
Your comment “You are the one who is unquestionably incapable of receiving advice,” and “You will never understand what I have to say to you,” only reveals your pride and arrogance. What advice did you send? Your article was an attack from beginning to the end. Wisdom will not die with you, so don’t pride yourself beyond your limits.
Also, for someone to dig up an offense of over 35 years ago, demonstrates their inability to practice 1 Cor. 13.

The fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, and peace;
With these we find that all our worries do cease.
Longsuffering, gentleness and goodness of heart,
Demonstrate the kindness that Jesus did impart.
Faith, and meekness, and temperance every day;
These are the fruit the Spirit seeks to display.
Galatians 5:22-23
