From Jeremy R. Hammond, a journalist who picks apart propaganda about as good as anyone out there. He completely takes apart an awful spin piece from The Atlantic propagandizing for the US government, the CDC, and Vaccination Nation. To quote:

As former CDC Director Julie Gerberding was consequently forced to acknowledge, “Now, we all know that vaccines can occasionally cause fevers in kids. So if a child was immunized, got a fever, had other complications from the vaccines. And if you’re predisposed with a mitochondrial disorder, it can certainly set off some damage. Some of the symptoms can be symptoms that have characteristics of autism.”

In other words, despite the government and media’s insistence that vaccines can’t cause autism, it’s an acknowledged fact that vaccines can cause brain damage resulting in developmental regression.

Gerberding, incidentally, left her government job to become head of Merck’s vaccine division.

This trash from The Atlantic is standard fare for the utterly disgraceful mainstream media, which serve to manufacture consent for policies like the CDC’s childhood vaccine schedule just as they manufacture consent for US foreign policies, as they did for the illegal war on Iraq. Rather than properly educating the public about vaccines, the mainstream media continuously misinforms, serving not to illuminate the subject but to keep people in the dark. The media’s disgraceful reporting on the subject is criminally irresponsible. Rather than encouraging open discussion and debate, the media attempt to shut down any dissent with its propagandistic hit pieces.

Imagine this. From the University of Michigan, that bastion of Diaper Pin logic, comes a “social justice art festival” for which the purpose of the event is, to quote: “The event aims to explore how art can used as a mechanism to promote social justice and/or change. The theme for this year is In Our Space: Using Art to Name Our Reality.”

“Name our reality” — you caught that, right? And you know those who are joining their cultural Marxist friends in making up their reality don’t have a clue as to the philosophical implications of such a statement.

And note the “make art not war” and “mind open” logo design. But when I press the buttons on these birds, on Facebook, concerning their Dear Obama’s eight years of stepping up the total warfare, bombing, droning, and murder-brown-people foreign policy, they unfriend me rather than face the facts. Making their own reality, indeed. What pitiful, spineless fools.

Garrison Keillor calls himself a “liberal elitist.” You would never even think otherwise just seeing the man in the visual sense. You can picture this tired, old bird walking around the “liberal elite” section of Portland, carrying his organic granola and Tofurkey inside his reusable grocery bag, looking for the Birkenstock store. He thinks that his political party preferences make him a spaghetti-making, opera-snob, yoga-fied elitist. I’ve always liked him as an entertainer, and that’s been hard to do given his propensity for hating the common man. Keillor’s article in the Washington Post would never have made it into print in the MSM if the subjects of his insults were minorities, LGBT, or feminists. To quote:

The Trumpers never expected their guy to actually win the thing, and that’s their problem now. They only wanted to whoop and yell, boo at the H-word, wear profane T-shirts, maybe grab a crotch or two, jump in the RV with a couple six-packs and go out and shoot some spotted owls. It was pleasure enough for them just to know that they were driving us wild with dismay — by “us,” I mean librarians, children’s authors, yoga practitioners, Unitarians, birdwatchers, people who make their own pasta, opera goers, the grammar police, people who keep books on their shelves, that bunch.

…The uneducated white males who elected him are the vulnerable ones and they will not like what happens next.

I’m all for stereotyping in facts, but Keillor can’t even get that right. Additionally, the rise of Trump is predominantly due to the poison of politics that worships and coddles the do-nothing welfare class while holding the middle class captive in a corrupt political system of wealth-grabbing and redistribution.

Additionally, according to Keillor, people who side with one political party are easily defined: “Democrats can spend four years raising heirloom tomatoes, meditating, reading Jane Austen, traveling around the country, tasting artisan beers”… that, along with making your own pasta; grammar policing; and following the dumbed-down yoga fad. Now let anyone who is not on the Left make such broad-category stereotypes, and immediately, the political correctness police swoop down to deem that person intolerant and purge them from respectable society.

In reality, it is Keillor who is over and done, and so, goodbye. And may his fictional Lake Wobegon be taken over by Catholics, ugly children, crotch-grabbing rappers, and RV parks.

I’m not a Trumpster, but all this talk about “qualifications for President” is amusing. Using the mainstream definition of that term, Herr Obama is the most unqualified President of modern times, if not for all time. A state senator with no history of any accomplishments, billionaire Communist George Soros planted him in the US Senate as a stepping stone to big-boy politics. As a new, know-nothing, unknown Senator, Obama began planning his run for the presidency funded by the Soros machine with no public profile, no qualifications. Meanwhile, Leftists sit back in latte cafes with their peeps and exclaim how a billionaire entrepreneur who has spent his whole life dealing, building, creating jobs, and making profits is “unqualified” to take over the executive office.

Ann Arbor is the left-wing bastion of Michigan, and the city continually adopts environmental programs to reduce emissions, including this ambitious ‘Climate Action Plan‘ to reduce “the entire community’s greenhouse gas emissions by 8 percent by 2015, by 25 percent by 2025, and by 90 percent by 2050 — all relative to 2000 baseline levels.” Undergirding that ridiculous and unmeasurable plan is the installation of solar panels in government infrastructure, along with guidelines to make the city “solar friendly.” This allows the city to spend oodles of tax booty to prop up its green industry. But when Greg McGuire installed rooftop solar panels in his historic Ann Arbor home, this happened:

The assessed value of McGuire’s property jumped more than $32,000 after the solar panels were added, and the taxable value went up roughly $10,000.

That translated to a $458.91 increase in property taxes the next year, which McGuire said essentially wiped out the energy cost savings he and his wife factored into their financial calculations when deciding to go solar.

Ann Arbor bureaucrats claim it is Michigan state law that forces them to assess and tax residential solar panels, however, some research on my part (white papers and tax tribunal scripts) indicates that interpretation of Michigan state law regarding residential solar panel installation is varied, and numerous (nearby) communities have adopted a credo that does not assess residential solar panels, and the state doesn’t really care.

In Ann Arbor, even a petition to the city’s Board of Review doesn’t get the homeowner a “win” because the goals of the booty bureaucrats (the collection of taxes) conflict with the goals of the green bureaucrats. To say that the tax policy adopted by Ann Arbor is an “impediment” to its energy goals is an understatement.
