Research Areas
Over 40 research groups conduct basic neuroscience research and clinical trials of mental illness, brain function and behavior at the NIH main campus in Bethesda, Maryland. Researchers have access to brain imaging (e.g., fMRI, MEG, MRS, PET) facilities, scientific and statistical computing support, clinical phenotyping services, and other research support services.
