December 2016 Wrap-Up: Books and Reviews
Ye Grande Olde TBR(e) Challenge Update
I started December with 212 unread books sitting around my house. And I ended with … *drumroll* …213! Well, that’s about it for 2016, folks. Wouldn’t want to go changing my abysmally slow reading habits at the last minute. I blame the stress of the end of the semester, followed by the stress of an insanely short winter break during which I had to not only do holiday things but also prepare for the looming spring semester. We’ll see what 2017 brings (grading. The answer is going to be "grading.") and whether or not I can finally, finally get back in the swing of reading and reviewing.
…anyways, let’s take a look at the breakdown:

November 2016 Wrap-Up: Books and Reviews
Ye Grande Olde TBR(e) Challenge Update
I started November with 211 unread books sitting around my house. And I ended with … *drumroll* …212! November was supposed to be a month for me to catch up on my reading. And it’s not that I didn’t read anything, but most of what I read was the news and political commentary post-election, and then I really wanted the familiar comforts of old favorites. So… yeah. November was a wash for me. Here’s hoping for December!

October 2016 Wrap-Up: Books and Reviews
Ye Grande Olde TBR(e) Challenge Update
I started October with 202 unread books sitting around my house. And I ended with … *drumroll* …211! Well, October was a wash. I didn’t read much, didn’t listen to much, and was just busy and crazy and crazy busy all month. (Did get to the library booksale, though, obviously!) But it’s over now, and I spent last night laying on my couch reading, and it was delightful. Hopefully I’ll get to more of that, and maybe a few of my (WAY) overdue reviews during November!

September 2016 Wrap-Up: Books and Reviews
Ye Grande Olde TBR(e) Challenge Update
I started September with 202 unread books sitting around my house. And I ended with … *drumroll* …202! Although the books I read from my TBR pile are much shorter than the ones I added to the TBR pile to replace them. Oh well! I did a decent amount of reading in September, even if I’ve been totally ignoring this blog. More reading that is going to get done in October, at any rate. This month is going to be rough, I can tell already.

August 2016 Wrap-Up: Books and Reviews
Ye Grande Olde TBR(e) Challenge Update
I started August with 202 unread books sitting around my house. And I ended with … *drumroll* …202! August was a busy month, trying to get things up and running for the start of the new semester, but I managed to get a decent amount of reading (even if no reviewing) done.

July 2016 Monthly Wrap-Up: Books and Reviews
Ye Grande Olde TBR(e) Challenge Update
I started July with 201 unread books sitting around my house. And I ended with … *drumroll* …202! Not too shabby… not too shabby at all! I haven’t caught up with reviews like I wanted to, but I’m chiselling away at it (even as I’m reading and adding more to the pile, oh well.)
