CAMILA CABELLO RELEASES NEW VERSION OF PLATINUM SELLING, “NEVER BE THE SAME,” FEATURING KANE BROWN

‘CAMILA’ SURPASSES ONE BILLION STREAMS AND IS FIRST ALBUM OF 2018 TO BE CERTIFIED PLATINUM

“HAVANA” CERTIFIED 5X PLATINUM

(April 27, 2018 — Los Angeles, CA) — Global chart-topping singer/songwriter Camila Cabello has joined forces with multi-platinum-selling country breakout artist Kane Brown to release a new version of Camila’s growing smash hit “Never Be The Same.” The genre-crossing track is out today and already setting social media ablaze. Listen HERE!

The stunning collaboration combines each artist’s unique star power that separately has propelled them to the top of multiple charts. Both artists are currently surging with Top 5 singles – Brown with his stirring ballad “Heaven,” and Camila with the platinum-plus initial release of “Never Be The Same.” Last month Camila released the sultry video for the hit song, which you can watch HERE. It is the second single from her recently-crowned platinum debut album, CAMILA, the first album of 2018 to be certified platinum. The song is currently #2 at Top 40 Radio, with Rolling Stone hailing it as ‘Camila Cabello at her best, even at her most tormented…’. Genre-busting Brown deftly lends his “viscous and rich, low and wide” (NY Times) vocals to the new track.

Today’s release continues Camila’s culture-bridging domination of the pop landscape. Her sold-out headline “Never Be the Same Tour” winds down its North America trek in the next week with a slate of Canadian and east coast U.S. shows on tap before heading overseas in June. Soon after, Camila will join Taylor Swift this summer on the star’s eagerly awaited Reputation tour. Last week, Camila added to her growing list of industry accolades, receiving four 2018 Billboard Music Award nominations: Top New Artist, Top Female Artist, Top Collaboration, and a Billboard Chart Achievement nod. Along with her nominations, she will also perform live on the Billboard Awards, which will air Sunday, May 20th at 5pm PST/8pm EST on NBC.

Camila’s triumphant cross-country trek is buoyed by her record-setting debut album which topped the charts in the U.S. and around the world. CAMILA debuted at #1 on Billboard’s Top Albums chart the same week her enduring mega-hit “Havana” (featuring Young Thug) reached #1 on the Billboard Hot 100. She is the first female artist in 15 years to simultaneously lock down her first #1 on both charts in the same week. Last week “Havana” was certified 5X platinum by the RIAA, continuing its unprecedented stature as one of the pinnacle breakthrough hits of recent memory. “Havana” had the longest run at #1 on Billboard’s Top 40 Radio chart in 5 years in addition to holding #1 for 5 weeks in the UK (The British Sunday Times hailed Camila as ‘the biggest pop star in the world’), the longest running female #1 single on the British charts since Adele’s ‘Someone Like You’ in 2011. Camila has truly become a global phenomenon, with her self-titled debut notching the #1 spot on iTunes in 100 countries, breaking the record for most iTunes #1 peaks for a debut album, male or female. Camila has also turned the streaming world upside down, setting record Spotify numbers with multiple hits, surpassing a billion streams with CAMILA and totaling more than 2 billion Spotify streams overall to become the 37th most streamed artist of all-time.

Breakthrough country star Kane Brown broke onto the scene and topped the Billboard Top Country Albums for 11-weeks with his platinum-selling self-titled debut effort, earning him the best new artist country debut of the past three years and setting a record as the only artist in Billboard history to simultaneously top all five Country charts. A three-time Billboard Award nominee and double Academy of Country Music Awards (ACM) nominee this year, Brown’s current single, the Platinum-selling “Heaven,” is quickly rising (Top 5) at Country radio. “Heaven” has held the #1 slot for 7 weeks on Nielsen’s On Demand Audio Core Country Streaming chart and is Brown’s third track to achieve Platinum or Multi-Platinum certification. “Heaven” follows Brown’s ACM nominated, breakthrough #1 multi-platinum single “What Ifs” featuring Lauren Alaina, which was 2018’s #1 most-streamed country song. The 24-year-old singer/songwriter has garnered over 1 billion on-demand audio and video streams including 81 million views for “Heaven,” available HERE. Brown continues to break records– from his Chapter 1 EP (2016) which was the highest-debuting country EP of the Nielsen SoundScan era to his #1 debut album Kane Brown, which became the sole country album released since December 2016 to receive RIAA Platinum certification status and the only country album to achieve 11 weeks at #1 in the same time period.

HYPEBEAST PREMIERES MUSIC VIDEO FOR FIRST SINGLE “CODE OF HONOR” FEATURING FUTURE & SCHOOLBOY Q

WATCH THE ALBUM TRAILER

(March 26, 2018 – Los Angeles, CA) – Artist, producer, A&R visionary, and “The COOLest DJ In The World” DJ ESCO will unleash his anxiously awaited major label full-length album, KOLORBLIND [Freebandz/Epic Records], available for download and streaming at all digital retailers and platforms Friday March 30, 2018.

It’s available for pre-save with a fan incentive of exclusive KOLORBLIND merchandise HERE.

This album is a reflection of Esco, who is, in fact, color blind. Esco’s meaning behind the title KOLORBLIND, is that “there are no boundaries, no black and white, no red and blue. When you listen to the music it’s purely enjoyment for musical purposes,” says Esco.

This morning, Hypebeast exclusively premiered the music video for the first single “Code Of Honor” [feat. Future & ScHoolboy Q] which is available for streaming and download at all digital retailers now. Over ice cold beats and pulsating production, Future’s raw verses collide with brash bars from ScHoolboy Q before a hypnotic hook takes hold. It’s unshakable and undeniable.

In the music video, Esco cruises the Hollywood Hills before landing at a wild house party flanked by red hot foreign whips and even hotter models. It’s the perfect gateway to KOLORBLIND and yet another banger from the Freebandz icon.
Watch it HERE.

On Friday, he first gave fans a preview of what to expect by sharing a hyped trailer on WorldStarHipHop. Excitement is only just beginning to ramp up for the record’s arrival.

Beyond his musical ubiquity, DJ Esco recently linked up with Diesel for his own collection. Expect more high-profile fashion moves and collaborations soon. He’s also hosting a weekly residency at Drai’s in Las Vegas every Thursday beginning April 19 through May 31!

A cornerstone of today’s sound, DJ Esco has maintained his place at the forefront of 21st century hip-hop. Future’s official DJ since 2008, and executive producer of the multi-platinum DS2 back in 2015, which is Future’s biggest album to date. He also executive produced the 2017 back-to-back Billboard Top 200 #1 platinum powerhouses, Future and Hndrxx. In addition to dropping underground favorites such as Ball Like Me in 2012 and No Sleep in 2014, his 56-night stay in a Dubai prison infamously inspired Future’s 2015 classic mixtape, 56 Nights. Between endless touring, 2016 saw DJ Esco drop Project E.T. The latter yielded the smash “Too Much Sauce,” which racked up over 76.4 million Spotify streams to date.

Now, the entire game is about to go KOLORBLIND…

(March 2, 2018 — Los Angeles, CA) — Today, Lauren Sanderson releases her brand new single “Written in the Stars” [feat. PnB Rock] via Epic Records.

Get it at all DSPs HERE. Stream it on YouTube HERE.

The song premiered yesterday on Complex, commenting “If you haven’t heard of Lauren Sanderson, now’s the time to get acquainted.” “Written in the Stars” serves as the perfect introduction to the world of the alternative-R&B-hip-hop temptress. Her smoky intonation entwines with a minimalist beat punctuated by finger-snaps and soulful harmonies before Philly rapper and singer PnB Rock turns up with an entrancing verse of his own. 22-year-old Ft. Wayne, Indiana native Sanderson seamlessly switches from confessional bars into a hypnotic hook that’s as provocative as it is poetic.

Additionally, it marks her formal Epic Records debut, announcing her arrival as the label’s latest powerhouse new voice.

These stories just don’t happen on their own—somebody makes them happen through blood, sweat, tears, and dreams. Completely self-made, the songstress quietly cooked up her self-released EP Spaces in 2017. Upon release, it captured #1 on iTunes Top R&B Albums Chart with no traditional promotion. Additionally, singles like “Fake Love” and “Anyone” [feat. Former Vandal] would both crack the 1 million mark on Spotify. Last year, she independently routed, scheduled, and booked an 18-city tour. Resonating within the hearts and minds of a diehard audience, she not only has amassed over 200K cumulative social followers, but she also often pens letters by hand for them.

With her full-length major label debut on the way, success seems “Written in the Stars” for Sanderson.

GLOBAL SUPERSTAR MEGHAN TRAINOR
RETURNS WITH
NEW SINGLE “NO EXCUSES”

REVEALS ENERGETIC AND COLORFUL MUSIC VIDEO
THIRD FULL-LENGTH ALBUM COMING SOON

(March 1, 2018 — Los Angeles, CA) — Today, GRAMMY® Award-winning singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist Meghan Trainor returns with her brand new single “No Excuses,” available worldwide now! Get it HERE via Epic Records.

It’s the first glimpse of what’s in store from her third full-length offering and one of the year’s most anticipated blockbuster releases—coming soon.

Trainor wrote ‘NO EXCUSES’ with songwriter JKash and Andrew Wells. The song is produced by Andrew Wells with additional production by the artist herself. The single tempers swaggering bass lines, bright guitars, and widescreen synths with an instantly infectious call-and-response. The boisterous production underscores a deeper message encoded in the hook, “Your mama raised you better than that.”

“I love how so many women are standing up for what’s right,” says Trainor. “I wanted to write us all a powerful anthem. Sometimes, people talk down to me, because I’ve only been doing this for four years, so I wrote this song. It’s my modern version of ‘R-E-S-P-E-C-T.’ It’s all about equality and being kind.”

Complementing this upbeat and undeniable anthem, she also shared the single’s official music video, shot by Colin Tilley. The high-energy visual brings the words to life as the songstress owns the screen more confident and charismatic than ever.

Watch it on VEVO.

If happiness had a soundtrack, it would be this album. Trainor triumphantly emerged from a terrifying second vocal cord surgery, four months without speaking, and debilitating anxiety into a fiery and focused force of nature. Empowering herself through self-love and care, she bottles that energy within new music. Recorded primarily with producer Wells, it would be a family affair. On every anthem, she enlisted a choir—comprised of her mom, dad, brothers, and fiancé—to add backing vocals. It’s undoubtedly her biggest, brightest, and best body of work to date.

Stay tuned for more from Trainor very soon.

Grammy-Award winning singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist Meghan Trainor emerged with her 2014 breakout single “All About That Bass” and disrupted contemporary music with nostalgic pop beats and powerhouse vocals that delivered a worldwide anthem for female empowerment. Trainor cemented her rising status as one of the most prominent artists in popular music by charting seven multi-platinum singles, releasing two platinum albums, selling out three headline tours, writing multi-platinum hits for top pop and country artists, and receiving countless industry awards and nominations worldwide. She is one of only five female artists to receive a diamond certification for her hit single “All About That Bass” which shares the RIAA Gold & Platinum Awards top honor with only 15 other singles in history. Earlier this year, Meghan wrapped up her first season as a panelist on FOX’s hit singing competition series THE FOUR: Battle for Stardom.

The record moved 119,000 equivalent units in the first week of release. Upon arrival, it captured #1 on iTunes in 100 countries, shattering the record for “most #1 iTunes peaks for a debut album (male or female).” #1 in nearly every corner of the globe, it dominated the charts in Canada and Mexico where its already Gold and also in Sweden, Norway, and Netherlands. Moreover, it landed in the Top 3 in the UK , Finland, Australia, Ireland, Belgium, and Switzerland.

About Camila’s success, Epic Records President Sylvia Rhone comments, “It’s unusual to achieve a #1 chart position on an artist’s debut album. With an untamed passion, Camila is one of those rare artists who excels as a vocalist, writer and performer. She made an exquisite album that not only bridges genres but cultures.

Get it HERE.

After seven weeks at #2, her runaway smash “Havana” [feat. Young Thug] climbs to #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 this week. It makes for her first #1 on the respective chart. Additionally, “Havana” achieves an RIAA triple-platinum certification. Among many accolades, it has also accomplished “the longest run at #1 on Top 40 Radio by a female artist in five years” in addition to holding #1 for five weeks across the pond as the “longest running female #1 single in the UK since Adele’s ‘Someone Like You’ in 2011.”

Over the past week, Camila has made the rounds with numerous memorable and viral television appearances. Right out of the gate, the record has garnered widespread critical acclaim. Stereogum called the album, “crisp and focused, engineered for world domination at a time when the sound of pop has become decidedly thin and ephemeral,” while NME praised its “edgier moments” and gave it 4-out-of-5 stars. In another 4-out-of-5 star review, The Times London wrote, “an unlikely cross between Mariah Carey and Joni Mitchell, and it is rather lovely.”

As Camila dominates worldwide, it’s clear she’s officially the queen of pop in 2018!

(January 18, 2018 – Los Angeles, CA) – Kicking off 2018 with meaning and message, French Montana uncovers the music video for “Famous” on VEVO today. It marks the latest single from his RIAA gold-certified critically acclaimed sophomore album, “JUNGLE RULES” [Coke Boys Music/Bad Boy Entertainment/Epic Records]—available everywhere now.

Watch it HERE.

Directed and shot by the acclaimed Director X and French Montana, the cinematic visual depicts French as he goes home to Morocco. French partnered with Samsung to bring life to the video which explores the magic of the country and nuances of its culture as he introduces an overview of this inspiring landscape. Meanwhile, the simmering beat, slight North African twang, and unshakable chant—“I’ll always love you”—comprise the perfect soundtrack to these real moments in the artist’s life.

It also amplifies awareness of his growing philanthropic efforts across the globe. During the production of “Famous,” he met with dignitaries and politicians in order to further humanitarian change in the country. Right now, he’s diligently working on implementing a social initiative to benefit Morocco similar to his recent success in Uganda.

Joining forces with Sean “Diddy” Combs and The Weeknd, French impressively raised over $500,000 to benefit the Suubi Health Center in the community of Budondo. The Center services a community of over 300,000 people in need. As a result of this donation, the establishment now includes new staff quarters, a birthing house, and a prenatal care clinic, while salaries have been paid!

Moreover, French ignited the start of another project, breaking ground on the brand new Suubi Hospital—details forthcoming. View the Urganda progress in this video and a “thank you” from the women. In a Christmas PSA, Diddy excitedly matches the $100,000 raised with a contribution of his own in time for the holidays. French began his philanthropic journey in March of 2017 in Uganda advocating for child and maternal health. He’s now ready to begin the PanAfrican Movement by going next to his hometown of Casablanca, Morocco working with CARE Morocco to ensure children of Casablanca have access to a quality education and healthcare. His first initiative will be to equip a local school in Morocco with computers, books, teacher training, and an arts program. Morocco is personal to him so he would like his fans to take actions at GlobalCitizen.org to join the movement.

Just last night, French delivered a standout performance of “Famous” on the Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. He took over the stage with undeniable charisma and charm. Watch it HERE.

Today, he’s on MTV’s TRL, where he’ll personally bring the music video on the show. Be sure to tune in!

“Famous” remains primed to take off. The GRAMMY® Award-nominated multiplatinum rap icon, influencer, and philanthropist set the stage for the success with last year’s blockbuster smash “UNFORGETTABLE” [feat. Swae Lee]. Not only did the track generate over 1 billion worldwide streams, but it also earned a quadruple-platinum certification from the RIAA.

[December 1, 2017 – London, UK] Today acclaimed producer and artist Yogi has releases his newest track, “Cakin’” featuring rapper/singer DRAM and Grime MC Lady Leshurr. Taken from his upcoming debut album for Epic Records/Ministry of Sound, the song was given its first listen last night via BBC’s Radio 1Xtra. The song is now available across all Digital Service Providers. Listen HERE.

Featuring heavyweight artist from both sides of the pond, ‘Cakin’’ brings Yogi’s transatlantic trip full circle.

“I made the beat while I was in LA in the summer of 2016 and as soon as I put the drums on the strings, I felt like I was the Cheshire Cat in Alice in Wonderland, and any time a beat makes me feel like that I know it’s special,” says Yogi on the song’s origin. “I thought DRAM would enhance that flavour, so I got him on it and then parked it, which is what I do with many of my songs. I then met Leshurr and we really caught a vibe, I really felt where she was coming from as an artist, so I left that meet in my brain for it to render. I then rearranged the song again and brought in a choir and went on the journey of taking the song, arrangement and production to the end of the rabbit hole.”

After releasing a string of acclaimed singles over the past few years like the arresting “Burial (ft. Pusha T)” (which was remixed collaboration with Skrillex) and most recently, the hypnotic bouncy “Blow You Up (Ft. AlunaGeorge and Less Is More)”, Cakin’ is Yogi’s first release for Epic Records/Ministry of Sound and is taken from his upcoming 2018 album. The perfect first taste of what’s to come, the song centres around finding success, yet promises listeners that there is more to come and feast on in the near future.

Over Yogi’s bouncing and punchy production, DRAM lets loose with his gospel like hook: “If you think that I’m paid / Wait till I start really cakin’”. Then comes Lady Leshurr’s verse, bringing references to K-Swiss trainers straight from Birmingham and running over the beat “like Suge Knight”.

Lady Leshurr speaks on the track “I am so excited and honoured to be involved in this project. Yogi is one of the most exciting producers I have worked with recently.”

About Yogi:
Born and bred in Brent Cross, North west London, Yogi existed in his own world. But having lived in Los Angeles for the past three years, Yogi’s upcoming debut album is centered on his personal connection between the two cities. He’s been coming back and forth for the past five or six years as an in-house producer at Interscope, the label founded by Jimmy Iovine – and through which he ended up meeting and signing a production deal with the legendary Dr Dre, and an artist deal with Skrillex’s OWSLA to release his own music. These connections became the catalyst for Yogi’s journey across the Atlantic. And it’s these relationships Yogi fostered that’s put him in a position to bring the likes of DRAM and Kid Ink, together with UK acts such as Ray BLK, Lady Leshurr on his debut album, successfully marrying the tone of two of the world’s most iconic cities into one unique, jet-setting sound.

His production credits include some of the best in the game at the moment. Names like Rita Ora, Stormzy, Tinie Tempah, AlunaGeorge, Kid Ink, Professor Green and Santigold, are only a testament to Yogi’s strength as a powerhouse producer and his demand is sure to sky rocket. Yogi produced Wretch 32’s single ‘Traktor’ which came in at No.2 on the UK Official Charts.

Yogi describes his upcoming album as “a driving album” – one built around memories of cruising around London and Los Angeles, the different feelings each place evokes and the tunes he would play along the way. In a nutshell “I wanted to aspire make something like the Chronic 2001 of 2018,” he says, before going on to explain how the album is a marriage between LDN and LA. There’s also one final point he wants to get across – which is that the album is also going to have the kind of bumping tracks that hark back to his days as a DJ and could easily be played in a club. To kick things off there’s the lead single with DRAM and Lady Leshurr and as the lyrics go, if Yogi hasn’t impressed enough with his work already, you best wait until he really starts cakin’. Everything is building to that moment.
