Logo

The Optimizely logo is a wordmark of our company name. It serves as a universal signature on everything from company communications to products to swag. It enables us to maintain consistency and should not be modified in any way.

Wordmark usage rules

The wordmark should be used by default in any instance requiring a "company signature."

Clear space

To ensure visibility, the logo should be surrounded by a minimum amount of clear space equal to the width of the Optimizely "O."

Acceptable backgrounds

Where possible, the Optimizely logo should sit in brand blue on a white background. If necessary, a white logo on brand blue can be used instead. In select instances, such as page or email footers, the logo may be set in slate gray and used on background gray.

  • Brand blue logo on white
  • White logo on brand blue
  • Seacliff logo on Karl

Minimum sizing

Regardless of use, the logo requires a minimum width of 125 px on the web and 1.25" in print to maintain legibility.

Common mistakes

To maintain the integrity of the Optimizely logo, be sure to avoid these common logo alterations and usage pitfalls.

  • Logo in a gradient
  • Logo with a dropshadow
  • Logo with an outline
  • Low-contrast background
  • Off-color background
  • Busy background
  • Squished logo
  • Rotated logo
  • Logo in a sentence

Circle mark usage rules

The circle mark isolates the Optimizely "O" from the rest of our wordmark. It may be used sparingly in instances where brand awareness is already high, and should follow all usage rules above.

Favicon

The circle mark is our standard favicon, set in brand blue on a transparent background.

Swag

The circle mark may be used as an accent on swag items if our full logo appears elsewhere on the item.

Downloads

In most situations, a PNG file will be all you need. On Optimizely.com, we use SVG files. If you need a vector graphic, download an EPS file.
