About LXChat

 

LXChat provides access to the iWebcam® chat network. When you login you have the option to chat randomly with many people from all over the world using a cam, mic and text. From within our chat room you  may click the room list option to navigate to the many other chat rooms on the network.

 

People who have created a member profile  have the option to create and host their very own chat room. As a room host you will be given host control features to manage your chat room.

 

If you would like to have privacy while you chat then you may use private chat functions or even create private chat rooms.

 

Your chat account may be accessed anytime by clicking the user name badge at the upper left of the chat.

Getting Started

 

When you come to LXChat.com you will be presented with a login form. You may create a new member profile, login using an existing profile or simply enter the chat room using a guest access login.

 

Please remember that you may only use your email address for one created member account on the chat service. iWebcam® does not allow  you to create a number of profiles using the same email address. We would recommend creating a member profile using a valid email address so that you may receive valuable feedback from the chat service and member contact requests.

 

Click a user name in the user list or text chat to launch the interaction options.

 

Host A Chat Room

 

At the upper right of the chat room you will find a create/modify a chat room button. Please click this button to launch the configuration options. Please remember to click the "ok" button at the lower right of the configuration page to save the updates.

 

Room Title: Enter a room title so that your room description will be shown on the iWebcam® chat room list.

 

Room Type: You have an option of two room types. The Many-to-Many chat room configuration allows all participants to interact with a cam and view other broadcasting cams including the room host cam if they should choose to do so. The One-to-Many will allow you to automatically broadcast your cam to all room participants and the room participant's cams may only be viewed by the room host.

 

 

 

 

Password Protected: If you choose this option for your chat room then chatters will have to

enter your chat room password to be allowed access.

 

Upgraded Users Only: This option restricts interaction in your chat room to only those that have an upgraded member status on the iWebcam® chat. Persons may enter your chat room but will need to be upgraded to use text and cam views.

 

Chat Favorites Only: This option restricts access to your chat room. Only persons on your chat favorites list will be granted access to the chat room. Chat favorites may be selected by you while you are chatting in other chat rooms.

 

Visible on Room List: You may opt to not have your chat room show on the rooms list. When your chat room is not visible it may only be accessed by use of "your personal room link" or by special invite by your while chatting in other chat rooms.

 

Embed Chat on Website

 

Every member profile has the ability to embed their chat room on a website or social page.

 

Simple copy the embed code from the chat room configuration options and paste it to your page.

 

Once the code has been embedded on a page please login to the chat room using the same member profile used to obtain the embed code. The chat service will request you to configure your chat room and give you room host abilities.

 

Please be aware that only one chat room is given per member profile. Therefore, a chat room embed on more than website page will provide access to the same member profile chat room. Likewise, the member profile personal room link will also be the same chat room as the embedded chat rooms.

 

If a person accesses iWebcam® the chat through your chat room embed code or link, and they upgrade their member account, all the credits paid for the upgrade will be given to your account. You will see the entry on your chat credit history as "Revenue Share".

The iWebcam® chat is robust full featured video chat app. The app is available for Android devices.

When broadcasting a cam a person may choose a high bandwidth or low bandwidth setting. Low bandwidth is best suited to persons wishing to conserve data on their device.
