    Amazing symposium from this wknd. Heartening to hear ppl in industry identifying so many same gaps in Jewish kids lit I’ve experienced as both parent & writer- more diverse, contemporary experiences, families, history, culture. We’re not Ashkenaz monolith.

    After daily reading to my own kids for about 9 years now, an unexpectedly fun treat to listen to read aloud to roomful of adults. Feeling like a kid for a few minutes here. Plus excellent picture book story advice all throughout!
