    There is some evidence that public opinion has swung towards a second referendum on Brexit, although there is disagreement between polls. It's still not clear whether a majority of the public back a second vote.

    AGAINST: Academic pay is good compared to many jobs AGAINST: Although casualisation and inequality are important, the demands of the strike are around pay. How can we effectively strike for work on casualisation if we don't have concrete demands?
