    If someone's spent the last 8 years uploading 15,000 photos of trains and airplanes to posting/organizing every day, rather than complain about the $50/year for a Pro account, they should probably just pay up -- if you ask me I mean.

    By agreeing not to delete any CC photos uploaded to prior to 11-1-2018 is supporting in a huge way. I am proud that I have always licensed all of my photos CC from the beginning.

    “Anything uploaded with a CC license before November 1, 2018, won’t be deleted, but users will need to upgrade to Pro to upload more than 1,000 photos or videos.” Good move

    By the way, one tidbit that may have gotten lost in 's big restructuring earlier this week, they are creating a new iteration of Explore coming early 2019. I am really happy to hear this and Pro accounts get priority exposure. Another great decision!

    I *love* The Internet Archive and have for ages. They're almost certainly covered by our "Institutions For Good Are Exempt" policy, but just in case, I just donated the next 100 years of Flickr Pro for them. Hopefully this is easier.

    There are almost 118 million people paying over $100/year for . $50/year for Pro is a huge bargain. I’m happy to pay for such a high quality service. Great subscription services are worth paying for.
