Really excited that just approved a new Section on Firearms Law! This growing field has only become more important as we see gun violence increasing around the U.S. & SCOTUS becoming more active in the Second Amendment space. I'm honored to serve as Section chair-elect.

We lost a brilliant, phenomenal sister overnight. Dean Browne C. Lewis was a justice warrior, mentor, teacher, lawyer, leader, supporter, and family member. Our hearts are broken, but Browne’s spirit will find its way to us when we need her strength to soldier on.

My friend and colleague, Browne Lewis, an accomplished legal scholar, attorney, author, and member of LSAC’s Board of Trustees, died last night. Browne was a respected advisor to me and to LSAC’s executive leadership. Her loss will be deeply felt.
