I just realized the Canadian smoke you’re experiencing in New York is completely different from the Canadian smoke here in Toronto. Ours is blown east from the 54 active fires in NW Ontario and Manitoba. Yours is blown south from the 150 fires in Quebec

Good idea. The ultimate goal should be a car-free Clifton Hill. Way too many pedestrians struggling with measly pedestrian infrastructure.

I'm confused about this Twitter pay-to-play model. How do you determine the 500 biggest paying advertisers? If you're the 500th biggest spender, what happens if the 501st spends more and suddenly bumps you—do you lose verification? Will anyone even notice or care?
I thought it was pretty universally accepted that his live-action movies aren't even that good anymore—3 of his last 4 (Grand Budapest, French Dispatch and Darjeeling) are meh.

The speed with which the Nets traded Kyrie implies, to me, that they could have traded KD equally quickly if they wanted to—and didn't want to. Probably not changing their minds now so much as building around the contract superstar.
Purely from a content perspective, turns out it was a great NBA trade year to launch a podcast hosted by a Raptors fan () and Mavs fan (). Kudos to you both; enjoying the pod.

Moved into my new WFH office this week. Spent months renovating it. It doubles as a guest room. Only problem is now my wife and 1-month-old daughter like to nap here. So it smells like poo or farts atm. Hard to say whose fault. Other than that a very pleasant work environment.
I, for one, cannot wait to have an excuse to get out of this place for good.

Elon's changes and attitude seem to presume that Twitter is irreplaceable. Like we're stuck here. He's wrong. MySpace, AOL, MSN Messenger and Google Plus were equally replaceable. If enough better options exist, Twitter will be gone by 2030.
