    I still reflexively shout "war on Christmas! Who's with me?!!" when I hear someone say "Merry Christmas" (I loathe their cheer and their Christ). But in the middle of my charge to pummel the speaker into submission, I remember: "no, no, alas, there is a new sheriff in town."

    There’s a person in this interview that, when asked by Oprah to specify why she said she feels “safer” under President Trump than under President Obama starts with saying that now she’s allowed to say Merry Christmas.

    If *this* doesn't put him over the top in his fight to defeat the Obama presidency, I don't know what will.

    Thank you to for the great timeline on all of the failures the Obama Administration had against Russia, including Crimea, Syria and so much more. We are now starting to win again!

    Worth reading by Jonathan Zimmerman in Reasonable people can disagree about Lawrence Rosen's use of the n-word in a lecture on free speech. But no student spoke up for him. What should we think of that?

    If I absolutely had to venture a guess, based on what we know now, on whether there was collusion between the Trump campaign and Russia, I think one would reason as Hounshell does here, though the arrogance and stupidity of some of those involved gives one pause.
