    While at CTC, Sheehan took great pride in working with cadets–& his efforts on that front were tireless. One of his most important contributions was the creation of CTC’s Irregular Warfare Group, a group designed to expose cadets to IW through classroom & field experiences.

    We lost a great American this week. Sad to report that AMB Michael Sheehan, CTC’s former Distinguished Chair, passed away on Monday. Sheehan’s impact on the counterterrorism field & the growth and development of CTC has been nothing short of profound.

    More intrigue w IS's latest Naba infographic, after changes last week. In this week’s infographic we now have "Wilayat al-Somal" [Somalia]. "East Asia" though has been deprived the title of wilayah (a status it was upgraded to last week) & back to being just an "Area".
