    If I had it to do over again, I would explore having some kind of certification process. Wouldn’t be open source, but I think it would be worth it.

    This is one of the downsides of it being so easy to adopt a code of conduct. There’s no guarentee the group adopting it: a) understands it, b) will carry it out faithfully and with good judgement.

    I understand why the health agencies encourage folks to stay out of the smoke rather than go about their business with the wrong mask or an ill-fitting one. But saying "masks don't work" is misleading.
