    Interesting that the other Serco officer in the conversation is now saying that detention centres are "just a big business" Detainees in immigration detention are "cattle". Somebody is making money from the indefinite detention regime. Follow the money trail.

    Their hope was the election & new govt to facilitate the process, accepte Nz offer as well as finding permanent solutions to the asylum seekers but unfortunately that has never happened. If you believe in humanity we pleading you have compassion & mercy toward the broken soul.

    When we talk about the current mental health states of refugees & asylum seekers on Manus / Nauru never got as bad as its now. During my entire time in detention & the camp i have never seen ppl got to storage before, their lost hope has been taken away after the election.

    Another three suicide attempts & self-harm today as well between Manus & Port Moresby. Two among the sick men in Port Moresby & one on Manus island. This is completely a new way of suicide attempted which i have never seen when the someone write letter to his friends & family.

    We do respect the discussion of the Australian govt which said no one will resettle in Australia fair enough but why can they facilitate the process with the USA or accepting the Nz. What was our crimes to deserve such inhuman treatment & why the govt don’t have compassion.

    The Australian Govt have already signed death notes for the refugees & asylum seekers on Manus/Nauru. Since they won the election we had 12 plus men attempted suicide & self- harm between Manus & Pom, when a person attempt suicide he gets police response not mental health nurses.
