The international community of Open Access publishers

Our mission is to represent the interests of Open Access (OA) journal and book publishers globally, across all subjects and disciplines. This mission will be carried out through exchanging information, setting standards, advancing models, advocacy, education, and the promotion of innovation.

Through a shared interest in developing appropriate business models, tools and standards to support OA publishing, we can ensure a prosperous and sustainable future to the benefit of our members and the scholarly communities they serve.

All our members undergo a strict initial review procedure and must then continue to exemplify high standards to remain part of OASPA. Having this core evaluation process ensures that we only represent organisations who share our dedication to maintaining best practices in OA publishing globally.

Join OASPA and keep up to date with news via our Blog.
